"After reading all the comments, I'm not the only one to be released from the management. I have received an answer to my comments, which I now cannot seem to find about a family member who goes away and they do the best they can. My condolences I know these times are hard, but it was very dismissed again. Maybe together with the attitude of more employees they need a PR person to actually thank and apologize and perhaps a hope to see you there somewhere else. I wonder if the staff has the same feeling of management? Perhaps the waitress we had should see the waiting staff as a manager and pull the system to higher standards, she was also good under obvious pressure. I still wonder what the...

I'm officially a creditor... I wasn't always. I stayed twice this week because I fell in love with the beef and the hash breakfast. Glad I gave this place a second chance.

Wonderful meals and **** Mary with soft bowl collar! Yum! We want to return. The staff was nice and we sat outside on the new deck. Breakfast on Saturday was great. Shrimp and Grits and my better half had a Lowcountry Omelet. Very good and a nice plate to relax.

Great breakfast, lunch and incredible specialties. My favorite omlets in town and I am a little omelet snob. Lunch is great. Love her reubs, Philly Cheesesteak and Paninis. The specials are what everyone raves about. Very fresh and innovative for a diner. I had a fried green tomatoes BLT with a bowl of She-crab soup for lunch last week. Yes! My favorite breakfast/lunch spot beach (and mainland). Travelling to Flavortown? Yeah, even though I hate this guy.

"My BFAM* Steve offered to bring us breakfast this morning at a place that makes the best biscuits Gravy he had ever eaten in a restaurant. There is no way to give up something after an introduction like THAT! We uploaded the car and moved to Beverly. Mountains that... he brought us to the Banana River Cafe in Satellite Beach. And I'm telling you he didn't lie. Let me first say that I am 100%. No part of it has ever been found in a prepacked mixture where it just added hot water. No. There is a wealth of sausages that are boiled in the severity and to say that it is liberal o he a freshly baked cookie is an understatement of the highest order. Secondly, I would like to admit that I have grounded eggs (2) and turkey sausage, freshly ground and mixed on site. Why did I screw up? Well, it's because, how much of the cookies and Gravy you get! The eggs were scattered and were light and fluffy and incredibly delicious. The sausage was moist and subtle, but unfortunately I couldn't eat anything. I was stuffed to the pebbles! Did I mention that I ordered a sweet tea to drink, and the guy didn't even hit an eye? When I was verified, you have sweet iced tea?!? He answered, Absolutely. This alone is almost worthy of 5 stars. But combined with the excellent food quality, top of the line service, AND the real roasted sweet tea, this place cures everything just until 11. Unfortunately, I can only give 5 stars. You know well that they deserve it! tl;dr: Banana River Cafe, the Spinal Tap of Breakfast Cafés!"

"Cuban Island Restaurant 2910 N. Hwy A1A, Indialantic, FL 32903 5 Stars It seems I have broken the code on my random name generator after repeatedly disappointing Italian restaurants run by real Italians. The key to getting it to work properly is to type, as Tarzan said, make Cuban food. And voila, the name Cuban Island Restaurant popped out at me. Glancing at the GPS, I knew this was automatically a win as I didn 't have to go to the mainland. In fact, I didn 't have to go far at all as I was there in two shakes of a snake 's tail. Seated and handed a menu, my glorious service professional, Normat, soon approached me. Normat is everything a wait staff member should be and more. Normat was exceedingly helpful in going over the menu with me, and to that end, I placed an order for some Carnitas, the Churrasco and chimichurri plate, and one Cuban Sandwich. Enjoying the digs, I snapped a few pics and awaited Normat 's return. Within a short amount of time, my food was in front of me. A wave of enticing Cuban aromas assaulted my olfactory senses like so many tasty atoms. With eager anticipation, I immediately dug in as soon as Normat cleared away. First I tried a sample of the Carnitas. I really love me some good pork Carnitas, and these were some of, if not the best, I have ever had. They were incredibly tender and immensely flavorful. Each bite was a veritable cornucopia of intermingling island flavors. Moving on to the Churrasco and chimichurri plate, once again, I was overwhelmed (in a delightful way) with Caribbean flavors. I could go on for pages about the complexity of the spice mix and how each seemed to enhance the other, resulting in a mountain of tastiness, but you should just stop reading and go there already. This brings me to the final item on today 's glabrous sojourn on our charming barrier island: their take on the ever-popular Sandwich Cubano. As you can see by the picture, this included a mix of thinly sliced ham and roasted pork, oozing with melted Swiss with a pickle and mustard slathered on then pressed Cubano style and toasted to a sumptuous golden brown. This tasted as good as it looked and I was in foodie paradise! This place unequivocally serves some of the best Cuban food in Brevard County and the owner is Italian. I love that! The Big Boy says, You want the best Cuban food, you got the best Cuban food. Cuban Island!!"
