"I had lunch here at Syrtaki and the location above the rowing club offers great views overlooking the lake, bridge and some of the old town buildings. There are several sectioned rooms for dining of which is the main room with has dark furniture and located near the bar, but still a lot of natural light coming through the windows. The other room has floor to ceiling windows around with views of the lake, bridge and the old town. There is also an open patio in nice weather. The atmosphere of the place is nice. Not so friendly or attentive service. Food is nice, also the portions are good size. It is in a nice location if you manage to get a table on the side of the river. Typical Greek food.

Everything was ok. They are trying hard to be authentic but this is difficult outside of Greece. But if you want a little slice of your old home or a reminder of your holidays this will be enjoyable enough.

Although the place is well located, the food is very far from the genuine Greek cuisine. We had cheese fried eggs that were actually frozen in their core (I suppose not made at home but bought as frozen from the store). The dishes seem cheap, but the portions are really small. We had the fried zucchini slices, which were actually very few, while the tzatziki (not the main element of the plate) dominated. I also thought that the tzatziki was not made with real thick Greek yogurt. The meat dishes are an untypical mixture and bash of any kind of meat (pork, lamb, beef) soaked in a metaxa and fat cheese sauce.
