"My friend and I went for dinner on a Friday night. We've been going in December every year after an annual event, and for a few years the bar area was perfect. Then there were several years of a swim meet convention staying in the hotel on that night which meant for some reason the bar area was overrun with parents and teenagers ?! . I ordered mussels but although on the menu, they were not available. I then ordered the meatless burger. without bun. My companion had ordered the hamburger without bun. Both were overcooked and dry. the asparagus, a side dish, were overcooked. However, the martini was excellent and my companion had nothing but praise for his vermouth on the rocks. The service was fine.

I was actually surprised that I was so underwhelmed. I made a reservation but was not given reservation seating. I was seated in the middle of the restaurant with no view. The website said I picked the last of two reservations and when I arrived the place was far from crowded, which is why I couldn't understand my seating placement. My waitress took a very long time to come over to us, then Our order took a very long time to arrive. The food was just ok, nothing spectacular.
