"For a Friday evening during happy hour ish time, it was oddly empty (both at the bar and tables)... so got seated quickly and of course, were seated directly next to another couple, even though so many other empty tables! Regardless, we ordered white sangria and it was super sweet, not as alcoholicy as we like it, but decent! Onto the food, 3x crab filled peppers which were really not as fishy as expected, but definitely was great choice... 4x small lamb meatballs were perfect and sauce on side made it taste even better... 4x sliced short rib and bacon flatbread was quite flavourful and steaming hot and really delicious, horsheradish gave it a nice kick... parmeasen artichokes were very che...

The tapas were excellent. Everything was so tasty. The Wagyu steak was some of the most tender and juicy pieces of meat I have ever had.

Our server couldnt have been more wonderful. I know it might seem a little funny to say, but she had wonderful diction and tone. When I fumbled over numerous menu items pronunciation she joked and repeated it to me, in a very non threatening and non-belittling way. Our only gripe with the restaurant was the numerous menu items being 86'd. The waygu steak was out, the alternative steak was just sold out. While we settled for the waygu skewers, it wasnt the same. Also, after ordering two black coffees our server returned to let us know the coffee machine was not working. We were bummed for a moment, but without missing a beat she had already prepared two americanos, which we couldnt turn down....
