"Best homemade soup on the west side. Strange to think a coffee shop would serve the best soup. But they do. They serve one kind a day and it's always something worthwhile. I typically order ToGo, it takes 10 minutes for the food to be ready. Breakfast croissant sandwiches are killer. Loaded with bacon, cheddar, scrambled egg, avocado and a slice of tomato. They serve legit kirkland brand almond milk and soy milk for their non-dairy options. Their coffee is strong. Lots of organic tea options. Excellent fruit, too. This place is not one to skimp on your meal. Local beach vibes. You'll see groups of people gather who live in the area. Free wifi :"

I travel from Texas to eat at Cafe Milan!. My husband and I travel to California twice a year to visit relatives in San Diego. We ALWAYS go up to Playa Del Rey to eat at Cafe Milan. The food is unbelievably delicious and the prices are excellent,. I'm a native New Yorker, leaving 5 miles from the Atlantic Ocean and have to say, there is no place coast to coast like Cafe Milan. I give it a 5 star rating!
