"2 visits, 1 trip, 2 verdicts.. Our first visit, Sunday afternoon on Memorial Day weekend was excellent. Hostess asked us if inside was ok as the patio was full and then proceeded to take us to the very back of the restaurant. I asked if we could sit at an empty table just inside but with a nice outside view. Our server greeted us right away and told us about Happy Hour and returned with two cold beers and took our order for Gorditas and Carnitas. Both arrived promptly and were delicious. Our table was the perfect spot to watch the Memorial Day crowds pass by and our server looked after us with efficient enthusiasm. We had such a good experience that we decided to visit again two days later...

Hit this place up for Taco Tuesday. 50% off all non-seafood taco platters. Taco platters include 3 tacos (corn or flour), rice and beans. I had the chicken tacos which hit the spot but nothing to be blown away by. The table also enjoyed the guacamole which was really good and a healthy portion of guac. I was so hungry I ordered a side of steak fries and felt that they almost stole the show. Great portion!

"Overall: 4.1/5 dine in)Such a cool coffee shop in the Arts District. The staff here is so friendly and fun! They DJ their own music and vibe to it while they work. The music was so good, you could catch me lip singing or tapping along to the beat. They have a water station and wifi so it's a great spot to work. I did for a few hours and thoroughly enjoyed my time there.Iced Miso Caramel Latte $6.50): This is a seasonal drink so I had to try it before it's no longer available. It was very interesting to say the least. Didn't taste like anything I had before. I didn't taste the coffee really but the different components in this drink. You get hints of banana cream foam, miso caramel, and latte flavors randomly and subtlety. The latte isn't sweet and the espresso isn't strong so you don't get that bold coffee taste. Cool to try once but I wouldn't get it again.Truffle Croissant Sandwich $9): I asked them to add veggies only had lettuce) since I needed my fiber but lettuce doesn't go with the sandwich. The sandwich itself was big and filling. I also felt like they had a bunch of different flavor profiles that were good individually but didn't work cohesively. I tasted everything but the truffle-parm though which is supposed to be in the gravy. The egg was runny which was nice. The gravy was good and not salty. My favorite thing about the sandwich was probably the everything croissant. I think it would be really good by itself as well. Similar to the latte, the sandwich was good to try once since it's different but it wasn't savory enough to satisfy my umami taste buds. Wouldn't get it again."
