"Cocina Lolo is my new favorite spot to grab a bite before heading to The Queen for a show. The menu offers options for all tastes and budgets, and the wine selection is unique and reasonably priced. I tried the short rib tacos (delicious) while my friend enjoyed the chicken tacos. The chips, salsa, and guacamole were tasty, although slightly on the salty side. Despite being there on a Friday night before a show, we were surprised that there weren't more patrons, although the bartender was kept busy with the after work crowd. I've eaten at all of Bryan Sikora's restaurants in the area, and while they are all great, Cocina Lolo just hit the mark for me."

One of the area's if not the area's best Mexican restaurant. Lorraine (restaurant manager) ensures her guests receive well-prepared, well-presented, delicious meals at very reasonable prices. If you enjoy good Mexican fare, dine at Cocina Lolo. Note: Parking in the adjacent garage is free when dining at Cocina Lolo.

My husband and I decided to try a new restaurant for dinner, but unfortunately, we were not impressed and will not be returning. One red flag was that the restaurant was empty when we arrived, which is never a good sign. The service was great, but the food was just average. The ceviche seemed like it had been prepared in advance and lacked freshness. The fajitas we ordered were cooked well, but lacked flavor. The blood orange margaritas were delicious, but at $12 per glass, they were a bit pricey for our taste. We will be sticking to our local Mexican restaurant in Hockessin in the future.

"Very disorganized staff. Stood at front for about 5 minutes before anyone was acknowledged (myself and probably 5 others). Two employees had to decide who was going to be our host(ess). When they figured it out, the host took me to my table and said I 've got the breakfast menu here for you. Is that okay? Umm? it 's like 1pm, dude. No, it 's not okay. An older guy likes to just come out of the kitchen and stand, staring at customers like a stalker (not like a typical manager would do). One woman asked another if she wanted help and the second woman said I 'M BUSY! , but refused help. Salad was swimming in dressing. Lunch entree (pastichio) wasn 't bad. A little different than what I 'm used to, but that 's why I ordered it. The set of silverware across the table from me had not been washed properly. Still had something on them. The flap on the sugar jar thing for coffee doesn 't close, so at night, their bugs (I 'd be willing to bet they have bugs) probably have a blast in there. Biggest problem was the bread that the server brought me. Underneath the bread, inside the coffee filter with the bread, was someone else 's balled up straw wrappers! Like I started to butter my bread and saw it and thought to myself I don 't remember putting my straw wrapper in there. Nope, mine was still on the table. If it wasn 't for someone else 's dirty dish being used for my food, I 'd probably give this place 3 stars."
