"I was very excited about this place until I took my first bite. Now please note that I only ordered their everything bagel salad and I have not had anything else from here..But back to the salad. Absolutely horrid.. for 12 dollars the bowl is packed with greens and hardly anything else. It taste like there’s some sort of cleaning agent in there like dish soap or sanitation water.. the tomatoes are soft, soggy, and wilted. The cucumbers taste like some mysterious chemical as well. The red onions are a little too much and almost overpower the chemical taste but not quite..my wife and I laughed at the amount of salmon they gave.. almost like they grated it from a larger filet but forgot to fin...

Just okay. It's expensive for what it is. My saigon chicken salad was missing the listed herbs and the chicken was meh. The texture made it seem like it was a few days old. The cookie was bad. Seriously. It might be good if you're both vegan and gluten-free and your options are severely limited, but otherwise it's just a $4.00 block of grossness. With Enjoy and McLain's close by, I doubt that I'll be ordering from Cultivare again.

"Ooo la la!. We joined another couple for our first visit to Café Provence last week and we were all blown away by the food quality, the service, the ambiance, and the overall experience. We never expected an exquisite gem like this to be nestled in a suburban shopping center. Walking in is like being transported to a classic French restaurant on the Left Bank. The artwork and the 1950s French fashion photos combined with the way the tables were set and arranged (and the de rigueur bar area) to provide a wonderful warm welcome. The food and wine were spectacular-classic French fare executed with skill and passion. This is a family-run restaurant and the love and care that go into each offering were front and center. Some favorites: a warm octopus salad that was perfectly grilled, seasoned, and sauced; the best escargots in town; a French onion soup that bursts with layered flavors; and unbelievably skillful handlings of salmon (seared, with cabbage, mushrooms and a sublime sauce), pork (braised, with chorizo and pea risotto), chicken (sautéed, with grilled asparagus and an otherworldly Morel cream sauce), and a cod special (seared, with sautéed mushrooms, prosciutto, and a magnificent sauce). Don't miss desserts! A local woman provides freshly made sorbets that are inventive and delicious. All the other desserts are prepared in house and are perfect ways to cap a meal, especially the banana crepes and the chocolate cake. The service is friendly, impeccable, and unobtrusive. It was a perfect (and unexpected) evening; we are already planning a return."
