"This was one of the places that we read we must try while we are in Vail, and well for anyone that reads this review. If you are going for the food. It's not really anything special. Mexican/American cuisine. As someone with a Latin American background, was slightly disappointed in the Mexican cuisine. It's not bad. It's just not great. If you like bars you might appreciate the history of the bar as you enjoy a drink. Don't think it was worth it. Definitely not a place I will visit again. That being said Dave our server was fantastic. He was the best part of our dining experience here."

"Had an excellent breakfast after checking out of our unit. We picked Westside Cafe because of the great reviews on The Cap n’ Crunch French Toast. It was located in the Doubletree Hotel in West Vail. We ordered the Chicken Fried Steak and the Cap n Crunch French toast. The cereal sugar coating made the french toast very hard so I ordered a solo biscuit with dirty gravy. Totally recommend the chicken fried steak hashbrowns, biscuit gravy definitely comfort food. The service was great! Hazel was very cheerful and a pleasure to chat with. Oh! The manager removed the French toast from our ticket. We will be back!"

"Poor quality food. Poor quality service. Depressing vibes. On top of that, why spend $45 for a steak that takes 20-25 min for you to cook yourself. If I cook myself it should be a lot cheaper. Probably a fun place with little kids, for a one time thing though."

"Has great potential for being a great place in our small town of Minturn. Yet, I’ve given this place three separate tries and have been met with eye rolls and aggressiveness. Very unfortunate this business is still here. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $20–30 Food: 2 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1"

"NOT the same as the old Iconic Saloon. Very limited menu, inflated prices, and just not the same. Had been going to The Minturn Saloon for many (30+ years; unfortunately we find the “new” Saloon to be way over priced (but that’s not the problem, we can well afford it , and the menu to be too limited. Used to love the Quail, Duck breast and Chile Rellenos. Too bad, we won’t return."
