"Headed back to Fort Worth and hubby found this place. He saw the 4.9 ? rating so we decided to try it. The place is connected to the Chevron gas station. Wait staff is kind and attentive. The food was really good. It's not TexMex. It's regular Mexicanfood and it's well done! They start you with a basket of chips salsa. Salsa isn't hot, but it is very flavorful. Everyonegets a bowl of bean soup that I found to be so good that I forgot to snap a photo after my first taste!! We ordered the BirriaQuesadillas as well as the Mucho Grande Plate. The queso is the best. And the Tea is freshly made and is delicious, hard to find a good sweet tea now (don't worry they have unsweet too), plus they make homemade lemonade. So good.... Never tasted anything here I didn't like. Plus another hidden gem isNick, he is he owner's son and he is just the sweetest man you will ever meet

"really disappointed. She looked great from the outside. came in 3 other tables, eating was great, but how can they serve Mexican food and never come back to check on us? I've been drinking from my drink all the time. out waitress while nice, went off my table eight times never once saw my drink hanging almost on the table to get her attention. because it got bushier, never came again. finally asked if we're done and wait 10 minutes. eat great. service terrible. wont be back, which is too bad."

"Found an excellent quantity of small food in the city of Hico, TX. This place is really worth the ride! We had the smoked turkey melt on the jalapeño bread with a split of red potato salad and pasta salad. We also had the smoked chicken salad on sourdough with the same sides with pimples. Both were incredibly good and the portions were very nice! They also have Dublin drinks. We had the Dublin root beer. The staff at this place was great. They met us with a smile and a “show”. The place was very clean and I noticed that the staff put gloves while I prepared our meal. I appreciate that. If you ever come through 67, I strongly recommend dipping and eating a bite."

"My wife and I traveled an hour from Mineral Wells to visit this restaurant and we had a fantastic experience. The service was excellent. I ordered the Ribeye and my wife had the Porkchop, both of which were incredible! The location on main Street near the historic Midland Hotel provided a wonderful atmosphere. The only downside was the dessert. We tried the Bread Pudding and it was terrible. It was dry and lacked any flavor. Additionally, the portion size was very small considering the price. Despite this, I still highly recommend this restaurant. Just be sure to avoid the dessert."

"It has been years since our previous visit. Thanks life and pandemic. I truly, truly wish the Koffee Kup was just around the corner from our place about 4 hours away. Fresh made, warm yeast rolls, before devouring my special of the day which was Chicken Fried Steak with authentic, creamed potatoes and carrots. Topped off at the end with some astonishing apple crumble with whip cream. That topping, cinnamon, nutmeg, a dash of allspice and chunky pecans. Three fab lunch specials with entrees, sides, rolls and desert… all for less than $10/person."
