"we have eaten here on Thursday. I had the pig dog, the piccata, both were great, as they were. the best part was to meet our server. I unfortunately forgot his name (has happened a lot lately), but he was evacuated with his wife and two dogs and a cat from cascade curls. he made the evening so special, took time to couple the wein and recommend dishes. that were outright and that was eating above the top, and he was one of the best server we had, and that says something! we will return without a doubt. bravo to dinner and dessert cook, and to the whole staff, including the greetings at the front"

"super good! high quality, very delicate meat. flavor was great in all our ways. only the bottom is the meat in very large pieces. like whole chicken leg not a big thing just not personal preference. very convenient location for traveling, directly at the carbahn and fast service. we had a bigger order and it was finished in 15 minutes. I would recommend!"

"My favorite restaurant in the Hood River/White Salmon area. Classical yet cozy/rustic atmosphere, best waiting staff (Thank you Jen!!! , beautiful special drinks tapas (Pork polenta, cauliflower, butternut quesh with hazelnuts and Gorgonzola cheese sweet chili sauce covered chicken kere that made for a DELIC dinner. I can't expect to return to this jewel to bring family friends with me!!!!!!!!!"

"This place feels like home. A very busy home where people are willing to wait, willing to take the next seat or booth ready just because the food and options are so great. A good breakfast place is tough to find in my opinion. Either it’s a greasy spoon diner, or a overly fancy place that takes away from the quality or ingredients that people crave. Egg River cafe not only has an incredibly large and diverse menu, but they offer everything from the basics to the most sophisticated options. I am simple, I can go for a Egg or two, some bacon and a cup of coffee and be content. My wife, she prefers the Eggs Benedict, add spinach and tomato. Bring the hot sauce and we are both happy. Next time, I am definitely getting a skillet or the fried chicken and waffles It’s busy, be patient, they also serve good sized portions, bring some home…don’t waste."

"I’ve been eating here for years. They make pretty good beer, decent food great if you know what to order The service here is top notch! I would recommend almost every beer on the menu. As far as food the wings with sweet country boy sauce are amazing! I like the sweet potato burrito with added pork. The pork nachos are amazing as well. This place is great but can be disappointing if you order certain dishes IMO."
