"This was our first time dining at Everett's, and we chose to celebrate our anniversary there. We made reservations two days in advance and requested a table by the window. We had a short wait before being seated at a table with a lovely view of frozen Lake Wasilla and the mountains. The service was quick, and we started off with delicious cocktails. My wife enjoyed a wedge salad, while I ordered the seafood chowder, both of which were excellent. For our main course, we both had the 8 oz top sirloin, which was cooked perfectly to our liking. We chose our reservation for the Friday evening after Valentine’s Day to avoid the crowds . The dining room was busy but not packed . Our appetizer the pepper shrimp was breaded and deep fried and surprisingly good ! For a main course we both chose the Suvi prepared fillet cooked medium . We were both excited to try something new ! However when our steaks arrived they were not medium but quite rare . If we had ordered rare they would have been still undercooked . Over all we had a great time . The atmosphere was romantic . The lights were dimmed …….. our server was awesome ! We will be back .
