"this is our favourite restaurant in the Hallein/Oberalm area. eating is Italian styled. great, fresh, large portions and the service is friendly. I love the piccante milanese (egg coverered veal served on spaghetti and tomato sauce,) the pizza and the mussels in tomato sauce...(Mussel in tomtato sauce). always a small bowl of crushed chili and one of garlic are brought into the table, so if they want to add something to their palate. icespalach ham (pancakes with ice cream and chocolate sauce is a favorite dessert). during the weekday (except on Tuesday, when closed), they also offer a lunch menu for a very reasonable price, as well as the normal a la carte. also takeaway is possible. highly recommended!"

"We picked this restaurant for a large group to have a nice summer evening dinner based on various reviews and recommendation from our hotel. You need to make a reservation by phone and please do it in advance and make sure you are avoiding any...‘ruhe’days. There are a few parking spots in front of the building an childeren can play at the small playground. There was a sign that we needed to go behind the building to find a very nice garden with both covered (higher level) and uncovered tables. You can have here a romantic dinner for two, come with friends or family. The menu is not that big, but the portions are, and there were four dishes outside of the menu. The staff are extremely friendly, speak very well English, are fast and professional. At the table were already water glasses and tap water and the decorations were well taken care of. We had various dishes, which were all very tasty, well presented and served in a quick way. Nothing to fault this place. Shame the portions were so big that we could not fit in a dessert, but will be back when we can. Can not go wrong with this place."

"etwas ungewöhnlich die lage vom restaurant,mitten in einem wald,man denkt nicht unbedingt hier an ein spanisches lokalbeinahe behindertenfreundlich. parkplatz vorhanden.hatten nicht bestellt,bekamen aber doch einen tisch.ja natürlich gibt es tapas und span.vorspeisenplatte,sowie auch paella indiversen ausführungen,chorizo und serrano schinken.sowie meeresfrüchte und fisch.bekomme ich aber bei jedem italiener auch.die knoblauchsuppe war okay.wir bekamen einen kleinen gruss aus der küche als vorspeise,frisches brot und oliven,sowie ein tomatenrelish-angenehm scharf.als hauptspeise hatten wir -mein mann steak mit pfeffersauce und pommes ,sowie ich ein entrecote. wobei ich schon bemerken muss,das steaks nicht unbedingt wasspanisches sind.dazu ein guter tomatensalat mit frischem roten zwiebel.vermisst habe ich eigentlich,gegrillte lammkoteletts,es gibt lammkrone- und aglio e olio -also knoblauchmayonaise dazu,sowie conejos. es gibt auch kein mel i mato.habe auch keinen freixenet sekt gesehen,hatte aber auch keine weinkarte.als autofahrer leider nein.dafür war das wasser zu meinem fanta-so wie ich es wolltelauwarm- angenehm.leider kein almdudler zu bekommen.san miguel bier für meinen mann.bedienung war einfach okay,manchesmal sehr witzig.der koch hat schon einige auszeichnungen und bewertungen bekommen.michelin,gault mileau usw.für besondere anlässe sicher eine willkommene abwechslung-war der geburtstagmeines mannes."

"...and we had been delayed by roadworks on the German Autobahn. This meant that we missed the hotel's closing hours (luckily they left the key for us) but the kids were hungry, tired and thirsty. We approached the adjoining restaurant Restaurant Manuel, and I could see that we had just missed their closing hours too, however they were all too pleased to swrve us anyway. Such kindness was extremely welcome by myself and my family. We bought cold drinks and they even made some nuggets and french fries for the children. We intend to stop again on our way back to Germany, and this time we'll try some of their Indian delicacies! I can't wait! Extremely kind and helpful people."
