"Absolutely terrible and ignorant service. We waited a very long time just to give our order and when they finally served the wine ... the waiter just put the bottle and four glasses in the middle of our table and walked away ... he did...not even mind opening the bottle. We asked for today's menu, but unfortunately it could no longer be served OK, these things happen so we ordered something else and when the food finally arrived ... it was the most tasteless meal I have ever eaten in Berlin has been there times now. NO, I can not recommend this restaurant at all if you want to eat in the Nicolai Viertel area, there are plenty of other restaurants instead of this one. Conclusion ... DO NOT W...

Hidden away from the bustle of the riverside restaurants with a nice view of the Nikolai church this traditional restaurant serves good German food with plenty to choose from on the menu, also the draught beer is excellent quality. The waiter was very pleasant and...helpful, also I did not feel that we were being rushed as you do find in some places. Its well worth checking this restaurant out being easy to find owing to its location at the side of the church
