"I wasn't overly impressed by Lees. The chicken batter had a good taste, but it was not cooked as crisp as I like it in general (I am a Popeyes chicken NOT KFC original recipe person.) The pages seemed good, but SUPER was tiny, like 2 or 3 bites, which did not have how much they cost. We also got donuts and I'm hard on donuts (Hello, Shipleys is here) but my cake donut seemed like it had too much almond extract or something (can't quite identify it). I went after they were open for a few months, so maybe it worked out Kinks, but it can take a little while to get back."

This restaurant serves some of the best chicken I have ever tasted in my life! You can tell it was freshly fried and served right on your plate. The chicken batter is incredibly soft and flaky. The donuts are also fantastic, warm and soft. If you're looking for delicious food, this is definitely the place to go.

The food is amazing! First experience the excellent staff suggested the double donut which floored me. A beautiful stack of perfectly glazed donuts with 2 thick pieces of chicken tenderloin. First I tried using a fork and knife but it felt instinctualto try to fit everything in one flavorful bite. The chicken was seasoned and breaded expertly. It gave you a crunch that wouldsatisfy any chicken connoisseur. The best place I've had in a long time! A taste of Houston that I would double down any day.10/10

I was not very impressed with Lee's. The chicken had a good flavor, but it was not as crispy as I prefer (I prefer Popeye's chicken over KFC original recipe). The side dishes were small in portion size and seemed overpriced for what we received. We also tried the donuts, and as a donut connoisseur (Shipleys is my standard), I found the cake donut to have an overwhelming almond extract flavor. It is possible that they were still working out kinks since they had only been open a few months, but I may wait a while before returning.
