"This spot is outstanding!!! My wife and I had just finished up at The Met and could not decide on a place for lunch. We happened to see a sign directing us to Mad River just a few minutes away, and we are so glad that we followed. The atmosphere is terrific, mixing sports bar and relaxed hang-out spot. Our server Ashley was incredible, constantly checking on us and recommending a great beer choice. This spot is perfect for anyone looking for a chill spot to grab a bite and drink, and for anyone finishing up at The Met, Central Park, or anywhere else in the area."

Great local bar, cold beer and the sliders were very good. Fair prices and friendly bartender! Visited the Met and walked to this place, well worth the walk!

My daughter reserved the entire upper floor for a 30th Birthday Celebration. It was perfect and comfortable for the crowd we had. The staff was efficient and personable. I would highly recommend The Mad River!

AMAZING! Where do I begin?! Just did my birthday party there on November 4th 2017! Rodrigo and his team were fantastic! Great communication and attention to detail leading up to my event. The day of, I didn't have to lift a finger. The food was awesome, full of flavor and made everyone go back for 2nds. Then the dance floor rocked the whole night and the reasonably priced drinks flowed the entire night!! Thank you again!! Definitely will be back on a regular basis!
