"This was a disaster. It was even more confusing since they had all the signs pointing to a nice evening, ambience-wise, and such. Nothing anyone had was good. The desserts were awful, flour unmixed in the heart of the cake, like biting into flour or someone throwing a sandbag in your mouth. No amount of water can fix that. They did take it off the bill. Dinner also took about 45 minutes to come. I guess if we were full, it'd not have been a problem, but the plates were inedible, and we all left hungry. I suggest a serious reevaluation of the menu/cooking. Obviously, I would take all the dead things off the menu, then I would learn how to properly cook veggies and knock the price down. I thi...

Oh my gosh I love this place! I've been coming since 2006 and it's been a refuge! When you come on check and see if there's jazz or poetry night. Best time to come. Pull up a chair and get ready to be enlighten, maybe you'll get up the nerve to try yourself! Great time, and try the chocolate cake, but leave some for me.

Please be warned that this place is NOT a vegetarian/vegan cafe. We walked 25 minutes to get there and then took five minutes to find the eating area we must have been confused by the jive dance class and a rally for a presidential election hopeful. When we found it, the cafe looked cool until we saw the meat on the menu. We drank the water that had arrived on our table and quickly made our excuses to leave.

I haven't been here in well over a year, but I've always enjoyed my meals here, although my parents couldn't say the same. The tempeh with black bean sauce is awesome, and the vegan specials are good. My family likes the enchiladas. Step-dad suggests staying away from anything creamy. There's a good range of desserts, with lots of vegan and gluten free options. They lean to the healthier side of vegan baking, but still nice. The atmosphere is funky and eccentric, so not for everyone, but it feels comfortable and homey to me.

"Love this place! Absolutely zero complaints. Wife surprised me with a stay in Rino for Father’s Day with Colorado Sake being the main reason for the stay. I’m a sake enthusiast at home. Everything we tried was amazing. We spent a couple of hours and did a couple of flights along with some Kanzake(warm sake) and tried 5-6 different izikaya dishes and they were all amazing. We stumbled upon a comedy show that we didn’t even know was happening which was absolutely hilarious. I loved the place so much, I ended up going back in the morning for round 2 and tried the remaining flavors I missed the night before.Met Taylor and she was incredibly attentive and helped us get through the rest of the flavors so we could pick the 6 bottles I wanted to take home as well as recommending some amazing food options. They had ran out of take home bottles and she did everything in her power to figure out a way for me to be able to bring home the bottles we wanted. Thankfully the owner came in with more bottles right before we left. All in all, one of the best Father’s Day trips I’ve had, such good food and the best drinks.I can’t wait to go down there again. Unfortunately I have a feeling I am going to have a hard time drinking the traditional sake I’m used to because this slightly different version is so damn good!Again shoutout to Taylor and the crew for taking the greatest care of us.This place rocks!!!"
