"No one came to check on us after dropping off our food. Tried to wave down the staff for refill on water but never got the attention. We noted another table near us kept getting refills and plates cleared. It wasn't busy so I'm not sure what the issue was. We decided not to stay for dinner and left after we had our oyster and prawn platter which were tasty to be fair. Jazz and ambiance was nice as well. Too bad service put a bad taste in our mouths."

Went for Valentine's Day. They had a four-piece jazz band playing the entire time. It's slightly more casual than Blue Water Grill upstairs. Guidance from our server about what to order wasn't very helpful, but the sushi was fantastic and the cocktails were strong. Loved it.

the jazz and the waiter were great. the waiter was not shy and we sat 3 hours. the raw seafood was also very good. the steakpalliard was very dry and had been overheated. other than that, it was fun to sit in the metropolis and watch the musicians. as a native, the atmosphere is what I expected, but tourist would be very impressed.

We had a great Brunch with jazz music at Metropolis yesterday. The food was delicious , great service , elegant room and good live music. Too bad there were not more customers to fill the room and create a more vibrant ambiance . The Blue Water grill upstairs was packed and not Metropolis downstairs .. I don't understand why. It deserves much better.
