"This used to be my favorite restaurant and lately they have no service!! I get the pandemic but dang!!! We just went there for Mother's Day and it was a joke..... the past 2 times I have been there the service is terrible and they are running around everywhere! They need help!!! Either get help or close down! I love your food..... but it is absolutely ridiculous sitting around 10 mins just to get chips and salsa.... literally right before your food gets to the table. Then you eat and sit around waiting to get your bill until your waiter finishes getting the bar before they come to you! Some major things to change before we will be back. We have given them many chances and it keeps going dow...

I am understanding of there being fewer servers, but they still shouldn't completely forget to help you. Once someone of higher rank came and took the order we figured it would come quickly, it didn't. Once we got the food it was obvious it had been in the warmer a long time, clearly the higher person didn't come back. I will return, its normally a good time and the food is great when its fresh.

making the round with any Mexican kitchen in the KC area is the worst. we had last night just to come home to experience absolutely terrible fish tacos. the fish had been bad. the filets were brownish and muddy. my general opinion about this place is not good. the it is chaotic and loud. and the salsa is weak. our other stirs lacked taste except overcompensation of salt. margaritas further up on the north oak is much better for 'this type of Mexican food.

I want to share about one of the most confusing meals of my life. The chips were cooked in old oil, so tasted burnt. The salsa tasted like bland marina sauce. For dinner I got the fajitas con queso enchildas with steak and I actually have never had something so flavorless. After the first few bites I became concerned that I might have Covid, surly this should taste like something. My fears were put to rest however, when flavor finally came from bitting into a single sliver of lettuce. I also tasted my partners frozen margarita and it was like the la criox of margaritas, just an essence of marg.To taste hardly anything for a whole meal was truly stunning. I want my calories back.
