The Oak Truffle Room is a tiny (six 2-tops! jewel box in Greenwich Village that specializes ONLY in seasonal truffle dishes (white in winter, black in summer, both in the overlap season . The dishes are exquisite, the service warm and attentive, the decor intimate...what more could you want with your truffles?! So if you’re one of the legion of truffle plans feeling like a splurge, then you owe it to yourself to make the pilgrimage. Period."

Over priced and totally tasteless food in a cramped and dark tiny room. The Truffles had absolutely no taste. There is no reason to ever try the place. For $300 for 2 people, you can get the best of the best in New York which is not this place.
