"This place has been so good for the past 15 years, the quality and the presentation of the food was out of this world for like the cheapest price ever. However, they need to train the new guy more because this was the first time the food low quality with a downgrade of a presentation of the food and I could not taste the flavors. This is not a bad review intentionally, this is just a suggestion because the new guy simply needs to be trained more by the other chefs that been there the longest for more than a decade."

I just had the best sushi ever! The restaurant offers a fantastic dine-in deal where you buy one House Special Roll and get another one for free. Both rolls were delicious and very fresh. I'm looking forward to going back for lunch again this Friday.

Omiya is definitely a local gem!!! If you love sushi, don't even hesitate to grab a quick roll or two everything is delicious and fresh and will be worth it. The prices are quite reasonable and honestly, without exaggeration, it's some of the best sushi I have ever had in Brooklyn. Thank you so much to the courteous staff and sushi masters working here, we really appreciate the quality and attention to detail!

On October 28th, 2019, my girlfriend and I noticed a decline in service from January to July, causing us to stop visiting the restaurant. However, we decided to give it another try and were pleasantly surprised to be greeted by familiar staff. The food was just as delicious as we remembered, and it seems that the management has made improvements by bringing back some old staff to take care of us. We would recommend giving this restaurant another chance to all the regulars who may have left due to previous issues.
