"My husband and I were in town and met up with some friends who live in Chicago. We hadn’t made a dinner reservation but deep dish pizza sounded like a good plan. The reservation we made on Open Table said to call 40 mins in advance to order your deep dish since it takes time to make. I didn’t watch the clock too closely but it took prob 30-40 mins after we were seated. Maybe they do that to ensure you actually show up? All of us agreed that the pizza crust is 1) too hard and 2) too prominent. The pizza was mostly crust and since the crust didn’t wow us, it kind of left us feeling meh."
