"My boyfriend and I ate here on a Friday evening after restrictions eased. We had the pork tenderloin with Käsespätzle and Maultaschen (a stuffed German ravioli like pasta) with cheese and ham sauce two local specialties. Both dishes were wonderful. The apple strudel...with vanilla sauce and scoop of vanilla ice cream was perfection. Strongly recommend if you are in Triberg area."

The restaurant was very busy and we had not booked so we sat at the bar until a table came free; luckily this was not a long wait. The table service was good and prompt. The food was very tasty and good quality meat was...used with good portion sizes. Very enjoyable.

We stumbled on this place during a rain shower very friendly, patient with our rubbish attempts at speaking German but English language menu available when google translate doesn’t deliver. Traditional decor, popular with locals and very cosy. Excellent food especially the soup, kasespatzle...and house specials. Ate here twice as so nice!
