"Nachdem ich nun ein Dutzend mal hier zu Gast war, ist es an der Zeit, meine guten Erfahrungen mit anderen zu teilen.Bei "Sale e Pepe" bestelle ich gerne einfach mal 5 Gänge und überlassen die Auswahl Pippo, dem Wirt. Seiner Auswahl und seinen Weinempfehlungen traue ich und wurde noch nie enttäuscht. Neben der "normalen" Speisekarte" halte ich mich lieber an die Tageskarte, auf der ich schon bis zu acht frische Fischsorten vorfand. Auch die Fleischgerichte sind absolut empfehlenswert. Ich wüsste aber beim besten Willen nicht, was mein Favorit ist. Bislang schmeckte mir alles ausgezeichnet. Und das ist bei mir eher selten.Da es eher ein kleines Restaurant ist, empfiehlt sich eine telefonische Reservierung. In den Sommermonaten sorgt die kleine Terrasse im ruhigen, geschlossenen Innenhof für Ausweichmöglichkeiten. Der Wirt greift auch schon mal gerne zur Gitarre oder setzt sich ans Klavier. Seine Interpretationen vorwiegend italienischer Lieder sorgt für eine angenehme gelöste Stimmung im Restaurant. Als wir an Muttertag zu Gast waren und eine der Töchter Lust hatte, ihrer Mutter ein kleines Ständchen zu singen, war das kein Problem. Auch andere Gäste habe ich schon mit Pippo zusammen musizieren gehört. Es geht dabei weniger um die "perfekte" musikalische Darbietung. Viel wichtiger ist es, mit dem Herzen zu singen. Und das kann Pippo meisterhaft!Zum Schluss ein Wort zu den Gästen, die sich wie "Graf Kotz" verhalten und an allem etwas rumzumäkeln haben. Von denen habe ich auch zwei Bewertungen hier gelesen, die dieses Restaurant anscheinend nicht zu würdigen wissen. Es ist gut, wenn sie wegbleiben und die Plätze frei lassen für die liebenswürdigen Gäste, die dieses Haus verdient hat und die glücklicherweise die überwiegende Mehrzahl ausmachen."

"we drove through Germany on the way back to Great Britain stayed in Eschweiler for 1 night. beautiful restaurant with great food at a reasonable price. the waiters (darius roman) were fantastic hosts. I had pasta with paprika, my wife had tagliatelle with salmon. the dessert of zabaglione was made on the table with a little flair. with 2 beer and 2 glasses wein grappa came the whole thing on exactly €50. would eat here again."

"we were there with 4 people.The quality of the food could not convince.The berner schnitzel was as thin as meat, that he could hardly be taken. actually you only got a lot of sauce. the black fillet with ananas and prirsich from the dose was tiny. the added croquettes were in an old fat eye-baked. a corresponding note to the kelnner triggered an unfriendly reaction. (my accompaniment had also promptly at night lean intestinal problems).Mineral water ordered, but did not come. on demand were then brought directly 2 bottles.We sat in the winter garden in the window area. they radiated an icy cold."

"We went there quite spontaneously because of good reviews. Apparently the most happening restaurant in town at the moment since they were full booked. Luckily the older waiter was very friendly and we were allowed to have a nice table for two. The interior is...beautiful, a mix between traditional asian culture with modern flares. We ordered appetizer plate for two, a combination of deep fried cheese, delicious spring rolls and meat satays, which unfortunately bit cold, dry and hard. The main courses were delicious, we had pad thai with shrimps and chicken and would definitely recommend it. And also one of the signature dishes with duck, but I didn‘t find that special. Overall maybe the best asian restaurant in small town Eschweiler, very very friendly service, normal price and cozy clean interior"
