"They had about 5, 6 vegan types of donuts here, but note that the price policy is very untransparent and there are 3 types of (vegan) donuts, the normal for 2,80 eur or as indicated on the table behind the counter, as a filled doughnut for 3 eur something and then the crossnuts for 4,90 eur. I wouldn't have bought it if I knew how expensive one of those loaded and huge things was... Because they are not real cronuts, they were just soggy and unspectacular and not worth the money... this place gave me the feeling that they know they don't last long and try to win so much money as long as the hype is not dead. Also 0.30 Eur for vegan donuts, as indicated in the price menu, is NOT vegan-friend...

There are actually many vegan options and not just blanding, but things like biscuits donuts, an salty caramel in and even filled donuts. Of course not exactly amazing donuts (they are not freshly made), but as good as they come around here. Updated by previous review on 2020-09-09

Only space in the city where you can take vegan donuts away. When Donut was addicted to the cause I was there a few times. You have a variation of vegan options, but it is always like a lottery, you never know what you can get. Compared to other donuts, they are not the best, but still OK, problem is for the offer pricing is far too high. Especially the extra charge for a delivery is a bit greedy. Have several vegan options. But they don't get to Brammibals Donuts ran. There are much more not vegan donuts. Sometimes they taste dry, sometimes mega horny I think normal, depending on who holds, etc. The staff is always totally friendly and we like to buy donuts there. The filled are also delicious. I prefer Cotton choc. I find the transverse nuts for the vegan variant somewhat too expensive because there is nothing special about it. It is worth ordering the desired donut online beforehand and then picking it up. So it is usually very fresh and you are not disappointed if they are already sold out : Updated from the previous review on 2021 11 14

"On an early Saturday evening in mid-January 2024 we spontaneously decided to go to the Leonidas in Bochum to eat Greek as we were just nearby. At 17:00 the first guests were waiting for the entrance door. Most guests apparently had reserved. The friendly Greek and forward-looking boss of the house, who received us, could then give us a good table with an overview of the large guest room. The ambience of the Leonidas is a bit very strange and needy here you do not expect a Greek restaurant. It seems that there was a brewery industry here a long time ago or something similar or what it is called. All in the 70s/80s design dressed with dark wood and wood carvings and butt slices. But no matter what, the Old Scool Design couldn't scare us off. Distinguishing can be the 151 ! positions comprehensive menu, apparently from the last century, with children and senior plates why seniors eat something different than younger guests, who decides who is a senior? The main focus of the map is meat and pommeslastig, with what the German average citizen probably associates with Greek food: Gyros , Souzouki , Souvlaki , Bifteki and so on. Rhodes Plates, Hermes Plates, Marathon Plates, Athens Plates, Cyclops and so on come from the 1980s. But what kind of a Hawaii fillet with pineapples and Gouda has to look for in a Greek restaurant??? So whoever stands on a bunch of meat with fries and beer is definitely right here. Uniquely meat and of course pommeslastig no guest had ordered the disc potatoes customary in Greece were also the plates of the other guests this evening in January 2024. No matter what we were in the Leonidas because of the food that is more suitable for domestic Greek cuisine. So we ordered Zaziki, Taramosalata fish rogen puree, Calamariakia baby calamari with garlic cream, zander fillet for my wife yes in Northern Greece comes the freshwater fish Zander before , stifado, water, white wine Imiglykos and at the end a Greek coffee and a glass of Ouzo Pilavas. The Zaziki was better and more spicy than what else you get in Greek restaurants. Here you go. Also the fish rogen puree tasted excellent, as well as the fried babycalamari, which had a beautiful thin delicate beautifully spiced pannade. The Zanderfilet with a few shrimps and vegetable strips in white wine sauce, with rice and leaf salad with honey mustard dressing tasted good to my wife. I was particularly interested in the Apo Ton Fourno dishes from the oven and here in particular the Stifado beef stew dish with small onions, as Stifado is very rare to get in Greek restaurants. The meat was tender and the small onions were still nice to bite. The Sosse could have been a little thicker. The little peasant salad was boring. The Imiglykos was without a special character; also not half-sweet without the slightly sweet note. Unfortunately, the Greek coffee, which was very weak, was also disappointing. Pros: the host asked about the degree of sweetness of coffee, just as it is common in Greece outside the tourist centers and in Germany in good Greek restaurants, since after-sales is not possible. It was pleasing that there are Ouzo Pilavas here, because the boring industry Ouzo Ouzo 12 does not drink Greeks, only the Germans fall into advertising. Conclusion: Everything in everything for us unfortunately only medium. Who, on the other hand, wants to eat a lot of meat and fries, is probably a good thing in Leonidas. If I ever go to the Leonidas in Bochum, then only to taste the typical local Greek dishes that can also be found on the map, such as Mezes Midia Florinis , Melitzanes , Spanaki , Florinis , Kalokerino , Psiti Feta also Kalamaria , Chtapódi or Sykoti , Rigan ."
