"My family and I were spending the week in Albuquerque and my kids wanted sushi so we found Sakura via a quick Google search. The atmosphere was solid, very clean. Our waiter Ryan was extremely good. He took time to talk to my kids and was very attentive and quick with service. The food was some of the better sushi I've had and my kids all enjoyed their sushi rolls as well. All in all I recommend Sakura to anyone on the ABQ area wanting a good sushi restaurant. Being half-Korean, I also loved that they had Korean options on the menu, I didn't order anything off that part of the menu so can't comment on the quality but it was great to see."

Food is not that good. Sushi doesn't stay together when you grab it with chopsticks. Prices are ridiculous for rice not staying on the roll and the seaweed unrolling itself when you pick it up. Doesn't taste great. I really wonder how they got #1 on any food rating. I've also seen the owner yelling at employees when in my opinion they were doing a wonderful job. I would never go here again.

A real gem in the neighborhood! I decided to dine solo last night and had the most lovely experience! I went at 6:30 and all of the tables were taken… a good sign that this was a popular sushi restaurant! I sat at the bar and the service was excellent. I ordered edamame which was served with miso soup. Both were hot and fresh! I had the American Dream roll ? it came out perfect! I will be back!!!
