"Lord! How can you make a sandwich better? You can't! PERIOD! On my super short trip to FT Myers 05/30/18 I drove back to the airport and knew I was starving. So, I set a second stop towards FT Myers Beach. Included with minutes ticks away and after a few beach pictures began scanning for food!!! I saw some places that caught my eye, but when I saw the Doghouse sign and the word Burger, I knew it had to be the place for me. I went to the bar and asked if I were to be dragged as I had parked in the neighbor Lot lol. I talked to the cheerful and confident boss Jason and his assistant. You were a real pleasure. I'm from California, I know almost no one in this area and less than 30 minutes to get, grab and go with my food. I wish I could have stayed and enjoyed. But Jason told me the dogs were pretty good, but what I wanted was the Cuban. I took his offer and watched that he had this incredibly constructed piece of food stuff like we chatting. I had seen the Cuban on food shows several times in Miami, but had never tried. He explained his version was the one, and people traveled to get them from anywhere, including Miami. Yeah, I thought we'd see, I told him. Ha! So, my bundle of pleasure was packed and packed and when I realized that I would definitely need a drink. I took the lemonade. He told me while I waited for him to be a cook for a few high-end restaurants, and I told him I love food and create websites for many restaurants and I know good food. Anyway, I took a photo of them and shared paths to the airport, as I quickly ran out of time. I jumped in the car, no tickets, thought you and dared RSW to catch my flight. I was in a hurry and prayed that there were no delays. I managed to jump out of the car and forget my Lemonade. Did not even get a sip because, as Jason explained, they did not have straws for environmental concerns, Awesome, but, prevented me from having any LOL. I hurry to put my bags in the door and put my hot Cuban package in my little bag. But now I was panic because I had no idea if you could take a sandwich through TSA. While I wait in the line, I took out the sandwich and took the biggest bite I could and folded it again. And after just a chewing I knew that this was a divinely designed masterpiece!!! I pulled it back when I left 2 other families to me, thought they would take it and bite a selection of the menu and fast video of my satisfaction and more! The bag was put back in the bag and ran for scanning. Oh, no, it's gonna be better. While I striped and poured all my stuff on the gymbuckle, I thought, Holy Moly!!! That's the best sandwich I ever tasted! I might have to miss a flight over this sandwich! As you may have guessed, fortunately, I was chosen for the further search. You said we just need to look into your bags. I told the TSA agent that there was a Cuban in her she said oh, ok, she grabbed my sandwich, not cool, and literally it went to scan it with the bomb scrap on the outer package, and said Oh my it still hot. I said yes, it is and it belongs to me. And it's the best sandwich I ever tasted. She let me go, took my sunscreen, but let my well-designed sandwich in touch. But there was no time to eat and I had all this crazy of the chart flavor still break any rule of taste, even mean though process as I ran to my gate. I mentally discussed when I wanted more. First flight? Second flight? Or wait until I get back to Cali 12 hours later. Damn it! My sandwich waited patiently for me and I took another bite on the plane while others starve with airline peanuts and too much alcohol and made me feel easily guilty. Don't! LOL Honestly, I thought how to get that taste in a sandwich? Wait, how do you get this kind of taste phase? What the hell have they brought into this perfect playback of a sandwich, which must have weighed almost 1 pound. No veggies, just a pimple slice, pulled pork, ham, Swiss, Mayo and mustard all roasted to perfection with what looked like a huge George Foreman grill?? WTH? This thing literally exploded with taste! I mean, it was as perfect as possible, and I knew this guy was definitely a master of Flavor-Town. I finally made it to California at 1 o'clock west coast time 12 hours later and the mouthwater aroma pack was still intact. I broke it out, hit it into the toaster oven to revitalize the bread and warm, but nothing else did. I sat there at my desk and floated further and further away into the gastronomy bliss with every bite. I carved every little piece of cheese and meat that I could remove from the wrapper and sat back after the last bite and said: DIES is like you one of the best sandwiches on the planet, period, point! It was so good, I had to call the next day to thank them for the meal. I spoke to Adam the other owner and he was as cool as Jason the day before and generously thanked me upstairs for my thoughts. But he also told me how they do it. Slow roast for 14 hours. What, let me tell you is the only way to get so much taste in a sandwich. Hey, it's easy, you deserve awards for this sandwich and if you tickle me under the Giant George Foreman Grill, my lemonade doesn't blame me. HAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Wherewww MAnn! Never, never, stop making these Cubans!!! I'll be back and maybe even have to go there, and that's your fault. LOL. Bottom line: Top 3 sandwiches I've ever eaten, hands down. Pure Flavor Brilliance. I'm sorry for the big picture, but I was in a hurry. Blame TSA. Sean B"
