We had an early supper there and I had the Jaegerschnitzel which is a pork cutlet with...mushroom sauce. It was a huge portion and comes accompanied by applesauce and fries. The only vegetable available was a a zucchini medley and I had that instead of the ubiquitous fries. A salad was also included. Sportlereck is a traditional restaurant in the heart of Bad Hersfeld. It's as long as I can think in Bad Hersfeld. In recent years it has turned from a simple football pub into a restaurant and steakhouse. The service was very friendly. We met with several people there. With all of us, the food was very good. I had a turkey steak with potato columns and salad for 12.50 euros. The Cola costs 3.60 euros, the cappuccino 2.50 euros. The ambience is very beautiful. The restaurant is located in an old semi-concrete house. You see old wooden beams everywhere and everything looks very cozy. Cleanliness was good. The price-performance ratio is normal.
