"Great local bagel house. You can find a great variety of bagels and ingredients for a reasonable price. It is quite a ritual around San Carlos, people stop by in the morning to get their bagel. Service is quick, but you might find a little queue at the entrance, it should not take you longer than 10/15min max I would say. Worth it to try!"

"Delicious sandwiches. Came here a few times. Ordered the Surfin Bird (hot) and it was good. Hit the spot todayWait time is around 10-15 mins but can be up to 30 min during lunch rush. YMMVI come here infrequently as it is on the pricy side. The large 9 inch Surfin Bird is $16~Tip: order on their website via toasttab instead of third parties like doordash when you do pick up. The price difference is $16 vs $23Parking: Parking inside the apartment complex. Reserved for retail"

"I'm so glad to have a solid sandwich option in DTSC. I'm going to really miss Gracie's, but Lou's is so far a suitable replacement. The first thing you notice is their bread. It's fresh! It's soft! And it's still crispy! I ordered the Kick'N RB, which is on Dutch Crunch. So the bread is crucial. Next, you notice that there isn't a brick of cheap meat on there. There's a sufficient amount of meat, and it's high quality. And, finally, they have delicious sauces, but nottoo much. Like I said, the ingredients are high quality, so there's no need to drown them out with sauce. Well done!"

"For the record I am a long time lover of Peet?s. I went into this Peet?s in San Mateo and ended up having to wait between five and 10 minutes for them to clear the orders ahead of me and, I guess, deal with their online orders. When it was finally my turn i ordered a coffee and asked the clerk if she would comp me a shot of espresso for my troubles. To which she responded, Twice, that she could not do that. I told her that if she couldn?t take care of a customer then I was going to walk and she just looked me in the eye and repeated, I can?t do that. So I left. Too bad, I won?t be coming back to this Pete?s, I don?t like the way they treat their customers."

"Pizza place! Most people will brush off a featured photo and if they could perhaps leave a comment or something.... Well folks; I 've lived in the Peninsula area since 2001, and raced 3 of my 4 kids and their friends partially on Mountain Mikes Wonderful Pizza etc. Held quite a few birthday gatherings and other celebrations at Mountain Mikes for nearly 2 decades. I must officially Thank You wonderful folks of this fine Pizza establishment ! Loved the Pizzas and the varieties they offer, combos, refreshing drinks, of course salads, and it saved us more then once not having to step into the kitchen for that day and slave over the stove. But seriously. Their Pizzas rock ! The prices are within the acceptable range, and we shall dine here again, even though our kids have gone off to College. ...back home currently due to the situation . In this ever changing, nowadays crazy world, its nice to see that some things remain the same! Same Great Pizza in this case! We 'll be ordering this eve ! Smile, eat more Pizza and be safe!"
