"Although eating was actually hot, the name deceives. I was invited to eat here and thought it was an American diner atmosphere. whatever. it is Thai cuisine. my immediate thought was everything on the menu has been a ghostly one, but that was not the case either. I don't know all Thai foods. So I order lardna because it was a nude soup with huh and without the heat. in the words of my 2 years old granddaughter. slurp nummy nummy D-Lish."

"This is an amazing hidden gem. It's in on old house from built in the 1950s in a residential area. Here are some tips when eating here: (1) order anything they smoked (chicken wings, pork), (2) they make their own Reuben and the Reuben sandwich is phenominal (my wife ordered it and it was my favorite item at dinner), (3) ask the server about the history of the house...it has a interesting mystery but I won't spoil the surprise. I ordered the fish (cod) and chips which seemed very authentic to this American (who has traveled in England). Fries were a bit moist and flimsy in texture and soak up that malt vinegar nicely. The shrimp and grits was not traditional for the south. The grits came in fried patties and sat in a broth. It didn't taste bad but it wasn't shrimp and grits. I guess that is to be expected when ordering southern at an English place. My wife life my daughter's grit dish. My wife ordered the homemade Reuben sandwich which was phenominal. I hear everyone ranting and raving about the smoked pork but I didn't try it because I would not be able to finish it myself. It is very large and enough for two, and costs as much as two dishes. You need a helper and my wife wouldn't help me with it. The atmosphere is great, and feels like a little pub in England. They have outdoor seating but it seems to go first if weather is nice outside."

"This is the best Schlotzky's location that you'll find around Atlanta. The staff here are extremely friendly, even during the lunch rush during weekdays. You'll usually not have to wait more than a couple of minutes to order your food, and just ~5 minutes longer to get your meal, making it a great option for lunch hour."

"Cops like it? Must be quality.. After a long morning of driving around the city center, trying to find a place for breakfast at 9 a.m. on Sunday (end 4 weekend), I finally stumbled on Thumbs Up Diner and knew that this would be good when I saw 10 policemen walking women into their cabin cars. Fortunately, we managed to avoid the parking space that was in full swing when we left, but don't think of this place as a white tablecloth facility. Diner atmosphere with modern twist, there is a limited waiting area, but my buddy and I just grabbed places on the counter. The grilled Veggie Bagel offered a nice, light option and the extra 2 ounces of cold smoke salmon I ordered hit the place. Full wheat cookies are a must, but not from this world. Follow the house rules, bring cash and go home happy. I would like to try this place for something other than breakfast, but due to the limited possibilities during this time of day I would say that this would be a standby for Sunday breakfast in the center of Atlanta."
