"The sushi at Yama is a bit better than the basic stuff at most Berlin sushi restaurants. All the fish varieties they have are tuna, salmon and cooked shrimp, so no difference there. The fish however, is mostly decent and devoid of the chewey and sinuouey fish cuts that other places serve up. The fish to rice ratio is not great, with the rice ball much too large for the fish on top. Also they only serve the very salty "red soy sauce. The Yama is located in the wonderful Prenzlauer Berg and the restaurant is pretty unpretentious. We visited on a beautiful summer evening and ate at one the tables outside. The sushi was very nice and very affordable. For 4 people (2 adults 2 children) we paid around €45 including drinks which is very reasonable for sushi. Would be happy to return next time I am in the area.

Trovato per puro caso, avendo affittato un appartamento nella via principale di Prenzlauer Berg. Aperto a tutte le ore, pesce fresco e di ottima qualità. Ad una certa ora del pomeriggio c'è l'"happy hour", in cui certi piatti di sushi vengono pagati la metà e la quantità di essi, invece, raddoppia. Sono riuscita a mangiare 36 pezzi a soli 19euro. Possibilità di mangiare seduti per terra. Strepitoso!
