"Extremely friendly staff. Our team were well around in the comprehensive menu. Tried the starters, the pizzas and even the octopus. Everything was good and well prepared. The wine list short but the wine we shared was really nice and accompanied the food perfectly....I just give this restaurant my best recommendations"

"On 09.08.2019 we stayed at lunchtime for lunch in the restaurant. We both ordered a salad plate and each one a drink. The drinks and eating came very fast and everything was fine. During eating, my wife had an object of hard plastic, in size of 10 x 12 mm in the mouth. She had noticed it in time and not swallowed it. This object could have caused great damage to the esophagus when swallowed. The operation was addressed by us and the comment was as follows: will be part of the packaging from the salad sauce. When I paid, there was no tip from me and no apology or compensation from the service. For us: PIZZERIA AM LULLUSBRUNNEN no thanks."

"Im zentral am Markt bzw. Linggplatz gelegenen News Cafe ist immer Betrieb. Allerdings ist der Geräuschpegel leider sehr hoch, die Atmosphäre erinnert doch etwas an eine Wartehalle. Auch gibt es eine umfängliche Speisenkarte. Bislang habe ich dort ausschließlich Salatteller bestellt, die sehr gut geschmeckt haben – vor allem die Dressings sind raffiniert und leicht. Die Getränke sind okay. Die Bedienung ist freundlich, aber bei großem Betrieb etwas überfordert und die Wartezeit ist zu lang. Im Sommer kann man auch draußen sitzen. Mehr gibt es dazu nicht zu sagen das Lokal ist so glatt ohne Ecken und Kanten wie meine Bewertung."

"We wanted to be seated but despite the restaurant being empty aside from two tables being taken we were told that every single table was reserved inside and outside and we could not be seated. We walked by an hour later and the restaurant was...still amost empty! We came there with young children and we wanted a table for six. In any event, I have never come across such a rude and arrogant place before"

"This restaurant is in a little old medieval building that is modernized inside with white banquettes along the walls and therefore makes a larger appearance than it is. We had an early supper there and I had the Jaegerschnitzel which is a pork cutlet with...mushroom sauce. It was a huge portion and comes accompanied by applesauce and fries. The only vegetable available was a a zucchini medley and I had that instead of the ubiquitous fries. A salad was also included. Otherwise vegetables are not in demand.......We also tried some potato latkes as an accompaniment and they were very good. Food was generally greasy but good. They apparently specialize in steaks beef but since I can get them better in the USA I didn't try any. It is old fashioned German cookery. They also have lots of different typesbrands of beers"

"We were on the way from north to south-west and in Bad Hersfeld Station and were at the B F Hotel (also very nice there! . As we were, the recommendation to the Old Brauhaus came right. We decided to sit in it, it was almost too shaded, inside is comfortably furnished and rustic. Instead of small for a brewhouse (but as a big city man you are probably used in other sizes, but original, clean, easy cozy. A 2 table at the window was reserved, but we were kindly invited by the (very nice, flashing and always to a little joker to place us there. The carvings ordered with cooking cheese or carvings (both probably hessian dishes, see photo was fixed and were very, very tasty the dark or natural beer (Engelhardt fits excellent and we were quickly satisfied the whole at the very cheap price is of course worth a RECOMMENDATION! Conclusion: For the (also great hunger right, lies in the very beautiful old town and is worth a visit!"

"It wasn't that long ago that getting a good meal in a small German town was something of a challenge. Venison, yes, but often accompanied by overcooked vegetables and too-salty potatoes. Fortunately those days are gone. The Luisenhof is a wonderful establishment, with excellent tables inside and out. We were a party of ten, with varied demands (including vegetarian). No disappointments at all."
