"We are on a Julia Morgan kick and this building is a beautiful reminder of her work and legacy. We ate lunch at Julia's restaurant--a lovely spot in elegant surroundings. Also got to wander around to enjoy the architecture, see the pool, and look at their small room dedicated to her work. The menu is limited in scope but all very tasty; we indulged in dessert also. Service was slow and servers not particularly attentive but we enjoyed the experience overall. There is parking in various garages around which can take some time."

"I was disappointed. The antipasto was not fresh. Rubbery mozzarella, hard olives, vinegary pickled vegetables. Bread was not fresh, entrees were just ok. Prices higher than better places in the neighborhood."

"Excellent items, tried Cup O’ Broth (V, GF) and Boiled Edamame Dumplings (V)with Scallion Pancakes (V)and Phoenix Buns (VG)...the scallion cakes were a rad extra greasy but that's often the case, Phoenix buns sweet and puffy lightly sticky, The broth had the most spice lingering, I wouldn't recommend eating it last! Glad to try more items. Boiled Edamame Dumplings (V)were delicious and my favorite."

"Best Chicken wings and Mac Cheese of Upper East Side. The spot is small but well designed. The food is amazing, they have a huge variety of sauces and sides. Everything was on point. Convenient tables to dine-in, warm and thoughtful decor, good music playlist, good food temperature and preparation time, super clean, utensils were handy, heat lights to keep delivery orders warm until they get picked up. You can tell by all the attention to all the details that this place is managed by a very experienced food industry person, at the end the result could not be other than an excellent experience. We ordered the 18 wings option and choose parm garlic and buffalo for sauces (half and half) also a side of Mac and cheese, and celery/carrots. The wings came with 2 additional dipping sauces of our choice, we had creamy cilantro and blue cheese. Everything was absolutely delicious.Everyone in the store was extremely friendly and attentive.Theres a 15% discount if you eat in the restaurant, great deal, they also offer lunch/afternoon special combos during weekdays from $9 to $12 average. Would definitely recommend and I will definitely come back."

"These desserts are WAY too sweet, sickly sweet, and I love Oreos and regular ice cream. As a customer, I'm really questioning why a place that should pride itself on the quality of its ingredients feels the need to add so much excess sugar? Too much sugar can mask old stale ingredients. The sprinkles are also way too crunchy. The person who runs Milk Bar needs to read the Yelp reviews and reformulate the recipes"

"Ippudo is a nice, spacious ramen spot to satisfy any ramen cravings you may have. Service was efficient and food was also delicious. Both ramens we ordered were solid choices, but I think personally the broth was on the salty side (some people may like that more). It wasn't mind-blowing ramen but still tasty nevertheless. The truffle fingerling potatoes took me by surprise and was probably my favorite thing ordered. It had the perfect amount of crisp and truffle flavor. Wish there was a bigger portion option!"

"The pickles are supposed to be refrigerated but this “guy” doesn’t line the boxes with styrofoam and include ice packs when shipping. You end up with warm pickles that took 2 days to get there. If you can’t keep the product cool, why offer shipping? There are plenty of businesses that do local only for similar reasons.$47 shipping for $52 pickles. Also, shipping is calculated and added after you purchase the pickles! Who does that? Why do businesses align themselves with religious organizations, Christian, Jewish, etc., then turn out to be so unethical?"

"Classic wrap is very disappointing! It’s too sour and 2 small pcs of chicken only! The vinaigrette is dripping all over the wrap coz it was not properly rolled and too much vinaigrette! It’s total waste of money eating here. I don’t see anything special with the boneless thigh for $11 few small pcs and there’s so much breading and the meat is too tiny. Tasteless!"

"Quick service and good food. The atmosphere is very casual and friendly. We ordered three different types of ramen: the totto ramen with chicken, the spicy mega ramen with pork, and spicy miso ramen with pork. I going to give this place four stars until I tried the spicy mega ramen. It is so good!! Rich, garlicky, savory… definitely one of the tastiest ramens I’ve had in NY. My brother liked the ramen here better than the one he had in Japan. He liked the totto ramen the best for its clean savory chicken base soup."

"We visited The Tang located in upper west side which the decor is modern with cozy ambiance. It’s good for a workday quick lunch but also perfect for dating. We love their Pork Dumplings in Chili Oil which was flavorful with great size of dumplings. The Salt Pepper Ribs was decent but not as soft as expected. We shared Beef Noodles Soup, Cold Noodles and Spicy Diced Chicken with a group of five people. Both noodles were delicious with good portion and their braised eggs were impressively satisfying."

"Had a great experience here! Friendly host and workers! Went here twice during my stay in nyc and ordered different things each time! The menu was great! My personal favorites were the black sesame cream cheese, berry cream cheese (do consider that this one’s a bit messier and not as photogenic as the berry jam is harder to style with the cream cheese), chicken katsu curry (found this great during a gloomy morning), uni spaghetti the black sesame kinako latte!!"

"I like Frank's. It's not the best pizza or food in the city but it's good enough and it's a throwback Italian place, especially for Manhattan. I think the food is better than the pizza, but the pizza isn't bad by any means. Most Italian places in Manhattan are either over the top expensive or glorified pizza shops, but behind the the front pizza area, the back dining room of Frank's takes you back (reminded me of Italian restaurants I went to growing up in Queens) and the prices are affordable (for Manhattan). The owner is always there taking care of the business and the staff is friendly and attentive. I recommend it for a low-key but solid Italian restaurant in the area."

"For some reason shake shack always forgets to put something in. Every time I order we are missing at least 1 item. This time we didn't receive a cheeseburger or the sauces for the chicken bites. Last time they sent no fries or sauce. It happens every time. They need to do a better job of checking orders are packed."

"I got the brownie and red velvet cake. The brownie was good, a little dry. The red velvet cake is light. It's a really big slice so you get your money's worth in size. It's kinda dry, and the frosting is like mildly sweet air. If you like buttercream (I think that's what it is idk), you'll probably like this cake. I didnt because I was expecting cream cheese frosting."

"Stopped by on an early Saturday afternoon for lunch. I was with my kid after checking out the Sesame Street Musical a street over and their generous portions filled us up. The service was quick and the pizza was good. The counter for Corner Slice was fine, but the general atmosphere of the Market was a bit depressing (since it looked like a few vendors had shut down) or perhaps it was a slow time of day? Either way, you can’t go wrong with a nice slice from these guys!"

"If you are looking for a cozy restaurant with excellent food and service a good wine list and value you can’t do better than Cocotte. It is tiny which is part of its charm. The servers are super friendly and the food is delicious! We had three appetizers – I am still dreaming about that potato leek truffle soup two mains -that chicken!! That Txchuleta!!! two desserts two espressos a bottle of wine and a negroni and left a 22%tip and it was about $300 which I consider a bargain. Can’t wait to go back to try the rest of the menu!"

"Cover up the facade with a flat surface and a simple cutout for an unmarked door and that's what I thought I walked into. It's an unassuming bar with Ryan, the bartender, making the cocktails. It's understated and done extremely well, very much like Ryan. It's not the most creative cocktails we've had, but the execution is spot on and that's more important when it's not a cutting edge bar like Mace or Angel's Share to name a few. They have a good selection of Whiskey, Mezcal, and Gins, in particular Barr Hill Gin, which I was surprised to see. This was definitely an unexpected pleasant surprise."

"Where should I start… as a Cuban-American individual I am going to say right now the only thing “Cuban” in this place is the name. I was visiting family in NYC and was having a nice afternoon stroll and stumbled onto this “Cuban” restaurant. I figured I would purchase a meal for my toddler which loves to eat rice and black beans. Her favorite actually, so imagine how thrilled I was when I saw this restaurant. I ordered grilled chicken breast with rice and beans. For starters the rice was yellow rice which is not typically how rice and beans are served. Generally it will be white rice with the beans, however I still decided to give it a go. My toddler literally didn’t swallow the food and told me she wanted nothing to do with the beans. I tried the food and honestly it’s theeee worst food I’ve ever had. The chicken couldn’t be blander unless it was alive still, incredibly dry. I mean forest fire dry. The rice was more like Mexican rice, a bad one at that, and the beans, I’ve had better straight from the Goya can. Undeniably not a Cuban restaurant. Please call this what it is which is a mediocre Mexican restaurant. Disappointed is an understatement once I saw how many non-Hispanic customers where eating there and getting swindled into thinking this is good Cuban OR Mexican food. Thumbs all the way down!!!!"

"Im a bit shy, but staff were superr friendly and patient, food was amazing! Soup was a perfect mixture of spicy and savory along with the sweet bits of mushroom. And the sushi was amazing as well! Its a small restaurant but somehow i still felt like i had my space. Highly recommend, this is the first restaurant where I would give 6 stars if i could."
