"Everyone knows what they like—be it tender, sweet, or tangy—and this establishment nailed it with their brisket sandwich and fries. They take great pride in their dishes, right down to the rich dipping sauce. My server today, William, was very friendly and attentive, ensuring I was well taken care of. Judging by the amount of food on my plate, one might think I was starving. But nope! I polished off every bite and relished it all.
When asked if I preferred my brisket slim or moist, I opted for a mix of both. The result was simply fantastic. The meat was perfectly seasoned, bringing out the delicious brisket flavor. As I bit into my sandwich, I initially worried that the bread would be dry, but it was anything but! The bread was dense, soft, and had a hint of sweetness that paired wonderfully with the meat.
The steak fries were crispy and flavorful, served with ketchup and a chipotle aioli sauce that had just the right amount of kick. One thing to note: Monty's grill sauce had a fruity twist! While it still tasted like a classic Texas barbecue sauce, that fruity touch made it unique. Would I want to come back for more? A resounding “yes”! I’m excited to try more dishes from their menu.
Oh, and by the way, they offer complimentary beer, margaritas, or wine with your meal. I’m not sure how long this promotion lasts, but the girls around me and I certainly took advantage of it. The local ale I enjoyed was delightful!"
