"I ordered 2 plain burgers and a side of garlic fries. As always, the burgers were delicious and cooked exactly how I wanted it to be. The garlic fries was a HUGE disappointment. I'm not sure if they changed their recipe or if it's cooked differently at other locations, but the garlic fries at Teddy's in Kailua is disgusting. The fries I received came with garlic that looked like they just opened a jar of minced garlic and dumped it on my fries. It was akin to eating raw garlic from a jar. I've had garlic fries at Teddy's in Kaneohe before and it was delicious. I wish all the different branches would be consistent in how their food is prepared. In regard to their customer service, it was fantastic! I noticed that majority of the workers were young, but they were all very personable and attentive. They deserve to be commended! The restaurant itself looks like it could use a good cleaning or upgrade though. Still, I'd recommend it. It has one of the best burgers in K-Town."

"Service Egeria was delightful and attentive. She recommended her favorite dishes and checked in on us regularly. Food We ordered the Elote Corn Dip, Pork Chop with jalapeño cornbread, and the Auction fish (grilled Ahi) with lemon risotto. The cornbread was cold which was disappointing and the risotto was okay. Our main entree meats were outstanding. Might be the best Ahi we’ve had. Atmosphere Comfortable and causal indoor and dining. We appreciated their selection of non-alcoholic beers."

"We used to be regular customers at Baci when it was under the old ownership and really enjoyed it. However, after the pandemic hit, we were shocked by how many times the new owners were cited for disregarding health mandates and mask regulations. "You gotta order their garlic fries and hot sauce! BEST MEDITERRANEAN GREEK FOOD ON ISLAND Their appetizer sampler is a great way to try their dishes. It comes with pita, babaganoush, hummus, zucchini fries, spanakopita. I would recommend ordering your shawarma or gyro with salad and stuffing your pita with the extra veggies. Order a whole order of garlic fries, it's worth getting !! *Pro Tip, get at least one hot sauce it compliments the shawarma patty, pita and their house made tzaziki sauce perfectly! The lemon soup is nice on a cold(er) windier day. It's light and well seasoned."

"As a vegetarian, I found this as one of few vegan cuisine in honolulu. Personally, I felt that the pricing was bit high but turns out they're in 13 n 16 sizes which can be shared amongst small group. We also met owner of the restaurant and ended up talking for a while about origination of the vegan pizza place in remote area if Oahu Island. His passion for cooking with vegan substitutes is remarkable. We ordered 13 Hawaiian special shared amongst 4 as light portion and were done with it(Pizza was good) But what came after was off-the-shelf.. he served interesting vegan tastings such as garlic bread with caprese, vegan sausages and tiramisu cake to end with. Each one of them was top notch! Definitely worth a try!"

"We have been to Baci many times. The food is decent but not fantastic. Three of us ordered the Monchong piccata fish special. Unfortunately all three were underdone. One of the plates was very underdone. The waitress took them all back and they were cooked longer. Unfortunately they were still all underdone... they were basically just warmed up. Our guest stopped eating and the waitress inquired if it was better. When she replied that it was not, they offered to replace the meal. She ended up choosing a shrimp linguini. It was better. My daughter and I lost our appetite for the meal and did not continue eating. There were apologies, but no offer to take half off the dish or anything. It was just a constant sorry, sorry, sorry. Clearly the cook has no idea how to cook Monchong.It was disappointing. Baci prices are not super low. The service is good but the food is uninspired and under seasoned. The AC units were both on, but the restaurant was uncomfortably hot. Everyone in our party was very warm. We will not be back any time soon"

"all the non-Vegs with me loved their meals — they got the quiche and a Papaya bowl. I had the three little birds sandwich and paid extra for the home potatoes on the side. bland still far over salted. the sandwich was fresh and delicious. it took longer to get out, and everyone with me had finished their meal until it arrived, so that did not help. If I ever came back, I'd probably be stuck with an açaí bowl or try the pancakes."

"Ganesh Dosa: Small little Indian place, with plenty of seating, everything is pretty upfront/straightfoward. Kind service, plenty of parking. Classic Dosa: never tried before, pretty good, something new and quality for a reasonable price with the quality. Not sure if I would brag about the place, but it’s somewhere worth trying Supreme Dosa with avocado instead of cheese: (from a non-vegan- “not bad, idk I’m not a good review person- I would go back with you.. not on my own) The product is good, but I’d just like to see a broader selection I suppose. But I could see myself back here at some point. For what it is- it’s a solid 3.5 stars, but I’ll say 3. I could see them working towards a 4. Definitely worth a shot nonetheless"

"Stopped by on our way to Kualoa Ranch hoping for a quick bite. They were short staffed when we arrived with only 1 server working, so the manager seemed to be pretty flustered and annoyed at people calling in. It was going to be quicker to order takeout (15 min turned into 20 as we reviewed the menu outside). We sat outside on some chairs waiting for our food. Make sure to ask for cutlery and condiments in Hawaii because it isn't standard to include. I did get forks but forgot to ask for ketchup. The guy told us to check back in after 20 minutes, which I did (I didn't want to keep going in and asking before that time), but when I went in I saw that our order had actually been ready sooner and was just sitting in the back. He should pay more attention to takeout orders when people are waiting. The 2nd server arrived while we were waiting. We ate in our car. We ordered the stack of 2 large lilikoi pancakes and the mokapu omelet. The takeout pancakes came with 2 little containers of lilikoi sauce, would have liked more, but they were pretty good. The omelet with hashbrowns was tasty but didn't have enough cheese for my taste. It had chunks of mushrooms and Portuguese sausage. No pic of the omelet, we were too hungry and in a rush. Was really looking forward to it being something special, but I am not sure I would go out of my way for it again."

"The Food Company Restaurant Catering (TFCRC) was a place that I patronized almost weekly at it's original location where Boot's and Kimo currently reside. Their menu is local centric and is Asian fusion with Hawaiian influence. I was sad to learn that the TFCRC lost their lease at its original location across from Safeway, but happy that they share the kitchen and space with Boardriders Bar. Bay Shrimp Avocado Salad 4/5 The Bay Shrimp Avocado Salad was good, not fantastic. I felt they could have increased the portion of shrimp on the salad. Overall, the salad was good. The avocados were buttery,and did not taste overripe. I had to ask for more dressing because you only get a small 2oz small cup of dressing of choice. The portion is too small for my liking. Ahi belly with brown rice 4/5 The ahi belly was breaded and fried. The breading had scant seasoning, and the ahi belly was a little fishy than usual but is expected with some portions of the ahi belly. But overall, the ahi belly was still good. Update: TFCRC has moved to its own place located in the Keolu Shopping Center. It is now take out only. Hopefully, they can find a place where you can sit down to enjoy their creations. The menu is a little different from their original place, but I assume is a transitional menu. Hopefully, TFCRC can reintroduce a lot of their menu selections from their original location. That probably will not happen until TFCRC finds a location to accommodate seating and a bigger kitchen."

"My wife and I have been coming to this restaurant for years. The food is some of the best in Kailua whether you do take out or dine in. There is a big issue with take out however, that is the reason for 4 stars.. We have twice now had to wait over an hour and a half (we counted) to get our food. Both times waiting outside the restaurant. If this isn't a problem for you then I would highly recommend however we are very busy individuals and at least need to be warned of the long wait times. They do not care and will not warn you about this, which is unacceptable when you're paying 80$ and up for two!"

"Stop here after the Lanikai Pillbox hike (Pro tip: parking on the first beach and go to the hiking entrance). Anyway, we were hungry afterwards, so we went from the beach parking lot here over the way through the park. Ordered the fresh fishing package, the chicken/bean soaking sandwich and some drinks. The sourdough bread was phenomenal and the chicken was perfectly cooked. The selection of drinks and snacks was super neat and also more fun/local choices than mainstream manufacturers. Everything was so favorable, given the location and convenience of this place to the beach, and there were 3 small picnic tables on the side of the building if you are too hungry to make it back to the beach. We will try again, more pages and maybe breakfast. The purple potato side keel looked enthusiastic."
