"As I was expecting to come on a late plane for Zermatt, I decided to stay in Tasch which is a few minutes away by train. I stayed at the Hotel Tascherhof and the evening meal was very good.The dinner consisted of a good salad and a speciality of the house being a very filling rosti with trimmings such as egg and bacon.All the food was very good and dinner was under 35 Swiss Francs...and excellent value for money as I also had a large beer"

We only ate the breakfast so I can't speak to the menu items. The breakfast buffet wasn't bad though.

Excellent Restaurant. Super good service. Ladies in the restaurant are super busy. But they give personal attention very well with every single customer. Food is also really really great

I came here twice, once for lunch and another time for dinner.Excellent beef and vegetable soup. The smell of the chicken was great. The mushroomSauce for he steak was top class.Some reviews commented about the old furniture. I would say it is nostalgic with American pop music from the 70s.Would eat here again if I come by Tasch.
