"I travel to Wilhelmshaven frequently and have tried this spot a few times but have been remiss in leaving a review. CaOs is truly a pleasant addition on the restaurant scene in WHV. The menu has a good selection of pasta, fish, and meat. The...menu is seasonal and it was lovely to see pumpkin soup and wild game on the menu. I went with my mother and we tried an appetizer, Kartoffel Bällchen (literally small potato balls) which are stuffed deep fried potato balls. They were filled with cheese and bacon and came with a dipping sauce of our choice (we chose the Kräuter/Herbal dip which was quite good). It is a welcoming nice restaurant with excellent staff and food. It is between the town centre and the Deutsches Marinemuseum so ideal for a lunch break.

Again we went to Caos, it was my third time in a year. The food is good as we were used albeit that it misses the finesses of the festive season. The service is good and friendly, the meals are priced well. The location is...very nice on the harbour side. Good to come back again!

I asked the staff times if the could please make sure to cook without wheat. They said it would be no problem. I asked again when the food came and they said it was ok for me to eat. Afterwards I realised it wasn't....I asked the chef and he hadn't even heard of my request. Not ok!

"Von außen macht das Gebäude längst nicht so einen schicken Eindruck wie von innen. Ohne Empfehlung wäre ich wahrscheinlich nie dort essen gegangen. Die Einrichtung innen ist hell und schick. Die Mitarbeiter*innen sind allesamt sehr freundlich und fix dabei. Das Essen kann sehr heiß und zeitnah auf den Tisch. Ich hatte Rigatoni al Forno mit Champignons und Brokkoli und es hat wirklich sehr sehr gut geschmeckt. Die Portionsgröße ist angemessen, das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis passt. Draußen sitzen kann man dort ebenfalls gut, auch die Nähe zur Straße stört nicht. Alles in allem ein schönes italienisches Restaurant, welches ich ohne Einschränkungen empfehlen würde."

"Nachdem wir das letzte Mal vor ca. 20 Jahren nach schlechter Erfahrung dort waren, wurden wir von Freunden überredet, es mal wieder zu versuchen. Das hätten wir besser sein lassen sollen.Schon von aussen konnte man erahnen, was einen drinnen erwartet. Interieur vollkommen veraltet, die Sitzbänke und Stühle verdreckt und verschlissen. Das Essen ist reine Convenience alles aus der Konserve, bzw. aus der Tiefkühlung. Die farbe Grün in Form von Salaten findet in diesem Restaurant nicht statt.Der Vorspeisentelle mit über 13 Euro ist eindeutig eine Frechheit. Kaputtfrittierte Zwiebelringe, weiche gefüllte Weinblätter, Mozzarella Sticks, ein Stück Feta gebacken, alles unappetitlich und als Krönung mittendrin Nudeln ist Fertigsauce. Eine abenteuerliche Kombination, für Menschen mit Anspruch an gutes Essen eine Zumutung.Da hilft es wenig, das der freundliche Wirt ständig gestreckten " Schnaps " servierte...."
