"All the positive responses where they come from. As has been written several times, the restaurant is more than zoomed, so also the entire complex. The service was quite friendly, the menu....something you can argue about it...with the number of dishes the chef is exhausted. The price does not fit at all to the courts, it is known that taste cannot be changed. The carving or the carvings were good, but were sufficient. The Pommes made the impression as if you were from MC Don.... behave the sauce and I also fear not without maggi bags. All in all, we wouldn't go back. There's something good.... the wheat beer was great."

the restaurant visit in the donaulaube was the best that could happen to us in the stau. she hides a little in a humane way. but there are signs that lead safely to the target. we sat barely traveling came a little gruß from the kitchen. (saving salad.) the small dishes like toast georg (with a sauce that did not come out of the ice) and cheese with delicious ham were excellent and even the cook came to the end to say goodbye. the card is diverse and the boss understands his craft. we can recommend the donau. from düsseldorf

almost delicious food. on Monday it is not easy to find an open restaurant. on Monday, however, everything seems to be closed in people. no! a native recommended us the donaubel. the vegetarian omelett with pfifferlingen was megaecker, on the second plate the croquettes were made on the point, very tasty, the pfifferlings with hampeck were just a dense. that was not carving. just before a burned, easy edible. when it was asked whether it tasted, and the carved megacracks were mentioned, only the sniffy answer came that they eat this. I don't think so. in a second attempt, we will not allow.

The beer is stored and fermented in 153 stages deep under the earth's surface in the historic Basaltfelsenkeller. Extensive parking spaces for buses, cars and also for campers are available for free. Ambience A large beer garden leads to the glass brewery. Along a volcano shop offering small snacks such as beer fires, liqueurs, beer bread or souvenirs, you can go to the big guest rooms. There is room at large long tables for numerous bus groups. We're still on a table for 6 people. The rooms are fully occupied, there is a great drive, a brewhouse atmosphere. With the decoration everything naturally turns around beer like e.g. a large old barrel filling machine in the middle of the room. Service The service staff has all hands to do until the bus companies are ready. There is hardly time for a friendly word in between, everything has to go fixed and mistakes do not stay out. Food and drink We try the fresh volcanic beer specialities in light and dark (3,50 € . For food, the Volcano Post Zeitung (spoke card Steaks, Eifler Gaumenschmaus and regional brewhouse kitchen are offered. We're picking the beer bonnet. Filled spit roast with mustard sauce, pommes and salad (11,90€). The mustard sauce could have been a bit stronger, the meat was nicely tender. The second dish of the meat skewer 300g with various pieces of meat with BBQ sauce (12,20€ was very dry to slightly burned and the roasted potatoes (3,00€ had seen the pan, only from one side. The Eifler potato soup in the terrine with sausage insert and volcanic bread (6.90€ somehow lacked the special. We were looking for something special. Was it the Digestiv, the original Eifelgeist or Eifelfeuer (each 2,50€ . No, nothing was lit here too. Last attempt, the volcano outbreak. Vanilla ice cream with raspberries and cream in a volcano 0.1 L beer rod (2.90€). The raspberries cold and above spray cream.
