"I was shocked when i went for my meal. TO call this a restaurant or even a pub is an insult to both venue types. This is a college bar or dive bar. They little food i had was poorly prepared, i had drunk kids stumbling over me and scaring my children and saw an argument that became physical . I did not feel safe with my family. Should not be on open table. There is much better in Boston for better value and a better experience. 1/10 NEVER again"

Arrived at opening so very laid back as neighborhood was just awakening. Traditional Irish fare was very good.

With tip bill was 185 quick service and waitress was good but after apps and dinner overall we were disappointed! 4 small steak tips and tiny fish portions on the plate left us wanting more

Hennessy's is a bar that also offers food! The food is excellent. Ours consisted of meatloaf, shepherds pie, steak tips and fish&chips We all enjoyed our meals very much! Only disappointment was no Dessert so we had coffee with Baileys Irish Cream! It did the trick! Not fancy, it is more of bar than restaurant so just know that ahead and you won't be disappointed on your visit!
