"Yesterday had arrived at the Hirschbachstueberl, with the train about 1 hour from Munich. Very nice and beautifully located old host house, from Lenggries train station in about 20 minutes walk easily accessible. You can sit under a glass roof at the house or be comfortably outside. To the appetizer we had the day soup, yesterday a creamy and tasty lens soup. After that the Thaicurry, beautiful aroma, the vegetables had bites and was terrified (pikant, but not too sharp). On the other hand, we actually wanted to take the rice balls with tomato sauce and salad. Cosy inn in beautiful surroundings, very nice staff and lovely boss. Beautiful selection of vegetarian food. Delicious!!!

Unfortunately really not delicious. Hard to believe but ALL dishes were really not good and we ate just because we waited very long and hungry. The carving tastes like a sponge in oil and butter. The noodles are overcooked, the citizens are bread rolls with stuff that has nothing to do with citizens. The service was stressed, we waited very long and at dinner was the dog of restaurant under our table. On the demand whether the dog belonged to them asked the owner? Why?. Nothing against dogs but at a table with children and eating, a dog has nothing to look for, especially not if he smells stronger. It is neither hygienic nor pleasant. They would have to take care that someone might be afraid...
