"We happened upon this place after a full day at Octoberfest. We were ready for some quiet comfort and good food. This place was exactly what we wanted. Menu was only in German (always a good sign) and our waiter was very helpful in filling...in the holes in our German. We were folks with a sleeping baby who stayed in the stroller while we dined. Wiener schnitzel done right: pounded thin and fried to perfection served with wonderful German potato salad; tagliatelle with delicious bolognaise sauce; and, perhaps best of all, a dinner salad of greens served with grilled shrimp. Everything was delicious. After dinner Sect was the perfect ending for this meal. A wonderful experience."

Really nice dinner! My wife had asparagus and i had the schnitzel. Honest, simple, but really great taste and friendly service. Try the mousse au chocolat for dessert!

The place is nice and very cozy. Menu is in German so the server was nice enough to help us with our selection and also suggested the beer. Food was wonderful and beer great. We visited Konigsquelle on our last night in Munich, otherwise I would've been back!

Seems like it might be best to have a reservation. We came a bit after 6 and was able to get a table since it was not reserved until 8. The menu was written in a German script that was a challenge to read but the waiter read it to us. We had a lovely meal and a fabulous dessert. A bit on the more expensive side. But it's small so not so noisy and we had a lovely chat with the couple next to us. If the weather were not rainy, there are also some tables outside. Very mobility accessible. One small step in.
