"Dinner tonight was exceptional. We had an incredible #tacoTuesday and the caliber of food, from the mint/lime martinis to the tacos, burrito, and the rice and beans was that of a homemade meal from a friend thanks to the fresh ingredients and friendly service from the bartender to chef and all other staff! Also the garden fresh Salsa and salsa verde were worth an extra to go!! And..:Save room for homemade dessert! No matter how full you are, it’s worth splitting if not more! Can’t wait to come back again and again!"

"My friend and I came on 9. March for dinner. I must say everything was nothing less amazing. We shared a cheese plate and the fennel blood orange salad, both were very delicious. The fennel blood orange salad was light and refreshing and the local cheese was great. We also received perfect fours for free to cook that were beautiful and delicious. I had a Bellini with appetizers and got the recommended Cabernet to pair with my strip-loin entree. I have to say that the strip-loin was from this world, along with the kale gratin, potato-leek Custard and onion-Marine. The lard crust and jus on the steak paired with the sides perfectly and was one of the best steak dishes I had. My friend and I also decided to get dessert and definitely not disappointed. I had a delicious espresso martini with the chocolate tempura. We also received free Macaroons and milk from the baked cook. Honestly, everything we tasted was amazing, the ambience was perfect, the timing was accurate and we had a great time. All staff are friendly and it was so nice to have such a relaxing dinner. We will definitely be back in the future and were so happy that we finally decided to dine at Al tavolo. Thank you for a great experience."

"Food is delicious! We had pizza and churros. The topping flavors are perfectly melded no matter what you choose. The crust is thin, and very nicely crisped, but it is sprinkled with a garlic and coarse cornbread mix that subtracts from the pure pizza crust flavor. Service is friendly. We got to sit right in front of the fireplace on a cold day so cozy! Also, if you're a music lover, you'll enjoy the surprise inside."

"Wasn't good, the brisket was ok. The keilbasa was ok. The potato salad was gross, fries were soggy, baked beans were sour tasting. The BBQ sauce wasn't that good. Wasn't worth the drive from Stratford. We went there after an article claimed it was the best BBQ in Connecticut. I'm not big on giving bad reviews but when there's an article claiming it's the best, and that's why we went, it was very disappointing. Should have tried the Mexican food instead."
