Unfortunately this establishment gave me and my partner very bad food poisoning. We dined on 5/26 right before the long Memorial Day weekend. The tuna tartare was the culprit we suspect. We also ordered a pasta and app. The vibe was cute but not worth the staph that onset within 45 minutes of dining here. Also the chocolate soufflé was bland smh.

been here many times and tonight as well.I like the atmosphere, the peoplewatching and the food is generally quite good..I read many bad reviews about service but i never experienced any problems. C’mon folks, complaining because nobody asked you how the food was? do you really miss that much saying “it’s great, thank you!”.I remember an english waiter with a questionable sense of humor that could be annoying sometimes..but hey who cares about that?!The only bummer is the price.I don’t want to sound cheap, but for such a casual place, i would expect a smaller bill.. I've been looking forward to going to Marvin because the food pictures online always look so good and the ambiance looked fun. Don't be deceived. It was one of the worst meals I've had in a long time. I go to restaurants all the time and never review (I should though) but the flavoring in everything was super bland so I had to share. I'll start with what wasn't too bad, the Cesar salad and fried artichokes. They were fine the Cesar was a bit too heavily dressed though but otherwise fine. The artichokes weren't really very flavorful but were ok. My friend and I ordered steak which maybe was the fail on us but I've seen pics that look good and our waiter said it was a favorite and he talked it...
