"A throwback to the 50s!!. The restaurant is a throwback to the 50s when there were few places to stop on the road to Gettysburg. The restaurant is quite large with a small gift shop at the entrance and a large buffet combined with several dining rooms that can be sectioned into private rooms. The daily specials are listed at the front door but the focus is on the buffet. The buffet is available as both soup salad only and the full buffet something I learned only after the fact. The big focus on the buffet is dessert with 2 1/2 of the 5 buffet tables dedicated to pies, puddings and other sweet treats. The best place I get any chance. We even had a family. These are about 40 to 50 of us. Great place, so family-oriented...

Great buffet!. We always stop here with the family after hiking in the Catoctin National park. Everyone loves the buffet because there is so much to choose from! That goes for the desserts, too : yummo!

Hmmm. Had breakfast other day while on the way to Gettysburg with family. I was OK with the breakfast but not too much selection. Not sure the family enjoyed but I was OK with it. It aint the Four Seasons but worth the few dollars. Also, had dinner a few months a go as I passed through and the Buffet was real good. Much better than breakfast
