"Nuevo Mexico has some of the most outstanding food that will ever grace your lips! Every food is freshly prepared and made with so much love and fresh ingredients. This gem of a restaurant is in my own neighborhood and has been here almost 30 years and I never knew about it. The decor from when you walk in is very rustic and makes you feel transported to Mexico in all the best ways then you get greeted by very friendly staff and then they bring you chips and salsa to start. The salsa is so amazingly good you already know everything afterwards is only going to get better. Best Mexican place in Park Slope, we try to come here at least once a week. I ended up dreaming about the steak and shrimp after not getting it the first time I went because I was full off appetizers and when I finally returned and ordered it, it was as good as I imagined it to be in my dream.
