I ordered the hard fish to escape as they were almost all the other on the menu. my niece ordered the flank steak and my bestie ordered a pizza. the steak was prepared in a medium rare way, although we asked for medium temperature. good thing that did not interest my niece, but the steak was not cooked to the temperature we wanted. the pizza was in the middle soggy, it could have been the truffle oil, but it did not seem completely boiled. my heavy fish was grilled on the outside, rarely on the inside. seldom enough that I could not get my fork through the middle. the greens were so salted, I couldn't eat them even though I starved. the server tried to argue...

when they are in pt reyes and are overwhelmed by the beauty around them and the beautiful ride to get there, osteria stellina has only the type of menu they want to fresh ingredients menu with something for everyone. it does not try to impress them with a beautiful environment simple and simply prepared fresh eating. it's wonderful.

we had a great time eating in stellina, but it was warm there! it was a warm day for the pt reyes station and I understand that they do not have ac there b/c they are so close to the coast, but a ceiling fan woud nice for the days that are warm. we really didn't want to stay too long after lunch, that is, we all liked our meals and will definitely go back. our waitress, which means I didn't get, but she's Polish, was lovely. really happy w/a great smile! thanks!
