"Got take out here and while the wait was pretty long it was actually worth it. They were crazy busy and the wait staff was still pleasant and the food was cooked correctly. I got the fried haddock dinner with fries and coleslaw. The fries are almost like a potato skin and we're salted perfectly. The coleslaw was creamy and good as well. The haddock itself was delicious however my one complaint was the beer batter was a little thick for my taste and it got very soggy. However, the soggy part wasn't their fault that just happens with take out containers sometimes. I got the small portion of haddock which was still quite a good size. Overall I'd definitely eat here again!"

"Great beers on tap. I had a fried chicken Po boy that was very good along with some tater tots that were perfectly done. There was a vegetable beef soup on the menu that hit the spot on a somewhat chili evening as well.The wait staff was quick and friendly and very attentive as well."

"WARNING! We ordered hamburgers from this restaurant on 10/10/09 and waited an hour for our food. When we finally received our meals, they were undercooked and unappetizing. To make matters worse, they sent back the same hamburgers we had returned after we had already spit on them, and cooked them on the same grill as the rest of the food! This is, in my opinion, incredibly dangerous. Half-eaten food from who knows whom can potentially carry diseases, and it’s all grilling right next to your meals. I'd advise you to stay away and protect your children. When we raised our concerns, two staff members informed us that this was the restaurant's policy. Dining here is at your own risk. I wouldn’t be surprised if people started asking for a side of hepatitis with their cheap meals. It's hard to see any respect in such practices. "

"My husband and I stopped in at Steener 's Pub today for lunch our first time and were very pleasantly surprised. I had the deep fried mushrooms and highly recommend them. When they first came out I had to ask what they were because they looked more like large deep fried corn muffins than 'shrooms they were that big!! I had to cut each one into eighths. And if you like your 'shrooms still 'rare ' with just a bit of batter (like I do), then these are also for you. The light batter was flavorful and the accompanying homemade ranch dressing was also delicious with lots of fresh garlic along with a taste of sour cream. I also had the French onion soup it was good. For my own personal preference, I like more onions and cut smaller a touch of Worcestershire, and a bit more broth reduction. My husband had the French dip with Swiss and found it above and beyond delicious. The waitress actually asked him how he wanted the beef cooked a first for a roast beef sandwich. The beef was tender and flavorful and the ciabatta roll was fresh and soft. The fries were good and they had vinegar for them always a plus. His preference is no peel, but the flavor was good and they were crispy like he likes. We will definitely be going back the menu is FULL of tantalizing options that we want to explore. We highly recommend giving Steener 's Pub a try!!!"
