"We decided to give this place a try after passing it by for 4 years. The experience was mixed. Terribly prepared main dishes: the filet mignon was overcooked, the side of asparagus was burned. The soup was not edible returned. My grandson's chicken tenders were over cooked and the portion was small. The broccoli was the best part of the steak and shrimp meal. Fortunately, we ordered the wings as an appetizer! Delicious!! We had two flavors. I suggest ordering them without a sauce and then dipping to add the amount of flavor you would like. The waitress there are no words for her dismal customer service. Only visited the table once! The restaurant was pretty swanky a band was playing when we...

We've been here over an hour and no food. Loud patrons smoking, poor ambiance. Food finally arrived. Large servings, no condiments. Waitress is nice but slammed. Not worth the effort.

Poxy tables were made in the form of horses and they were awesome looking. I also got a cheesecake that I particularly liked as well. We came in with my grandmother who is hard of walking, so the parking is a bit far away for her.

Pleasently surprised! My husband and I decided to have dinner at Bulle Rock Gourmet Pub Grill last night. We live in Bulle Rock and have always meant to swing by to see what it was all about. The place was pretty empty and service was great although we had multiple servers). We ordered a Hawaiian pizza, triple bogey pizza, and nachos with crab meat. The pizzas were delicious and a good size and the nachos were good, but we felt ripped off with the crab meat $6). We ordered the nachos to go and when we got home we saw that all the crab meat was put in a tiny half- filled container. Very disappointing. The menu is pretty limited, to my opinion, but we would definitely return for the pizzas, es...

"I came to the Bayou restaurant with my family on a Friday around 4:30 pm. I guess since it was still early it was DEAD. It was one of those situations where I got there and thought Shoot, did I not check the hours?? Thinking maybe it was even closed. We walked in and got seated immediately. The decor is very old and outdated. The waitress came over and asked for our drink selections we didn 't have drink menus on our table and I had to ask for one. The waitress looked surprised when I asked (probably cause I look young), but why wouldn 't you have a drink menu ready? That 's money right there! I decided to order the Awesome Potato which is a potato stuffed with crab imperial and cheese. Ummm, yes. It was pretty good. I felt like our food took awhile to come out, but they give you rolls and veggies to munch on. The potato itself was huge and you get two sides, so there was a lot of food. I will say, I LOVE their fries. My favorite type of fries are those crispy fries that almost taste like they 're double breaded. It was probably one of my favorite parts of the meal. Overall, I felt like it was quantity over quality. When we were closing out and waiting for our checks my family all paid with cards (we were going dutch) and I paid with cash. They were closed out and done with their cards and I was waiting for my change for another 5 7 minutes even though I saw my waitress doing other things in the dining room. Everything was okay, but I 'm not in any rush to go back."

"We visited Backfin Blues De Graw for Sunday brunch. We placed a reservation for 1pm at about noon just in case but there was not a wait to be seated for our party of four. This is what we ordered. There was an order of the crab omelet with sweet potato tots and an english muffin. The omelet was cooked well with a decent amount of crab in almost every bite. The tots were crispy and the english muffin came toasted well and pre-buttered. This was accompanied by an apple cider mimosa which tasted more or less just like apple cider. Another order was for the creole omelet with a side of cheesy grits and corn muffins. Additionally, an appetizer with the creole crab cakes was ordered. Everything tasted great. The third order was creole french toast with a side of bacon. The fourth order was also creole french toast. This order was asked to have a side of meat splitting bacon and andouille sausage. I specifically and explicitly asked if this could be done. I wanted to split one side order, not order two sides (more on this later). Oddly, the two sides of bacon were brought out on the same dish and we were basically told we can separate them ourselves. The french toast was extremely interesting. It came out like a donut or beignet deep fried with a crunchy and flaky outershell. The service is when things started to take a dip. We were informed that there was a large party on the other side of restaurant so things might be a little slow. The space between in the center part of the restaurant was basically empty. So when our waiter all but disappeared after delivering the food to the point of us having to ask another if his shift ended, we were surprised at how long it took to check out and leave. Because of this long wait, I didn’t bother explaining that we were charged double for the side meat order. They charged twice and the base price of meat sides was $4 when the menu said $3. Because it was ultimately under $10 in question, I just let it go since we had been sitting for too long at that point. Let down after an otherwise good tasting brunch."
