"My wife and I traveled an hour from Mineral Wells to visit this restaurant and we had a fantastic experience. The service was excellent. I ordered the Ribeye and my wife had the Porkchop, both of which were incredible! The location on main Street near the historic Midland Hotel provided a wonderful atmosphere. The only downside was the dessert. We tried the Bread Pudding and it was terrible. It was dry and lacked any flavor. Additionally, the portion size was very small considering the price. Despite this, I still highly recommend this restaurant. Just be sure to avoid the dessert."

This restaurant has quickly become one of my favorites. The food is fantastic and the menu is creative. It's clear that they have a skilled team in the kitchen. The service is top-notch, with friendly and attentive staff. The Chop House is truly a hidden gem.

If you're looking for a place that thinks outside the box, this is the spot for you. The Old Fashioned cocktail is garnished with strawberry and rhubarb, while the BLT features green fried tomatoes and house-smoked speck. Served with perfectly cut and fried house potato chips and house dill pickle. The BLT is priced at $10 and the Old Fashioned at $14, made with a top-notch Kentucky bourbon.

We stopped by this restaurant in Hico at night and found the staff to be very friendly. The restaurant is housed in a beautiful historical building. I was in the mood for a steak dinner but was taken aback by the high prices - the most expensive steak I have ever seen. I believe that the appeal of this place lies more in its historical significance rather than the food itself. Overall, it was okay but not worth the steep prices.
