"I brought my mom to eat at this place. I am a student just moved to Göttingen, food was pretty good and portion was big. However, when I asked for the bill, it came around 23€. I gave the employee 30 € and he didn't...gave me my money back. He just took 30€ and left. Is it mandatory to leave tip at this place?? I could have eat with that money for 2-3 days. This should not be how you treat costumers. Tha fact that I am a foreigner who don't speak German does not give you the right to take my money away without asking. This is not ok"

Really nice food (I had the Jägerschnitzel) for a great price! Would definitely recommend for people who are on a budget!

we sat with two small children for lunch, we were charged ten euro for 3 glasses water from the hahn. after 35 minutes came one of the children's meals. too expensive
